i heard on the offical rovio twitter account(rovio makes angry birds) that they are going to release angry birds to ALL nintendo systems this fall
systems confirmed:
3ds
dsi
wii
unknown:
project cafe
i think this will be similar to the psp/ps3 edition
what do you think? post!!!
-
Angry Birds is garbage.
And really? After the creator called DS games $49 pieces of plastic?
-
it is not garbage
and yes they are doing it
-
Angry Turds is one of the worst excuses for a game I have ever played.
You're paying money FOR A FLASH GAME.
A FREAKING FLASH GAME.
Big Rigs is worth more than this.
-
I'm, i don't think there is a game called "Angry Turds"
-
What I mean is that Angry Birds (and every "game" on the iTouch) is complete garbage.
If you want real gaming on the go, get a DS, 3DS, or PSP.
-
That's because the iPhone and iPod aren't made for gaming. People are just putting games on there because they can. Most of those games happen to suck, though.
-
i did read an article in Game Informer that said that cell games are catching up to portable gaming consoles in what they can do hardware-wise.
I haven't tried any cell phone games, so i can't say anything about their quality....
I also don't currently have a phone that can't play those games...so, i can't even try them out.
-
They're all crap for one reason.
DS, 3DS, and PSP all have buttons.
Mobile games lack buttons.
I'd much rather pay $35 for New Super Mario Bros than $.99 for a flash game.
-
...There are touchscreen-only DS games. Are those not worth bothering with? Meteos?
-
Except one difference.
The DS still has buttons.
-
Nice argument.
-
Remember, I have nothing against touchscreen DS games, because they actually have depth. Unlike iGames, which have NO DEPTH OR STRATEGY NEEDED.
-
Wait, so you change your argument when it's argued against? That's quite a generalisation, too.
-
What.
No I hate iGames because they lack any depth or school. I couldn't care less if a DS game uses the touch screen. I just prefer not having every game use the touch screen exclusively.
Like GTA: CTW, I have it on DS but it's also on iPod and iPad, but I can't imagine it with just a touch screen.
-
...Well, this is going nowhere.
-
There are games with plots and stuff, like Zenonia (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/zenonia/id316720410?mt=8), which has levels and experience and alternate plotlines. Sadly, these are rare, but most iPhone/iTouch/iPad games aren't meant to have the same purpose or experience or whatever as normal video games. They aren't meant to appeal to the same audience, I think. More casual and stuff.
-
they are probably designed to pick up and play, like on a bus or in a car; but allow for you to quickly switch to the phone part when needed or wanted.
-
What the hell is appealing about flinging a bird at a pig.
