Nintendo Gaming / Re: Nintendo series into cartoons
« on: April 22, 2011, 09:11:24 PM »
As far as the future of Nintendo cartoons I don't think its too bright, at least definitely not western cartoons like the ones we had in the 80s/early 90s, that was when NOA and NCL were separate entities but now that NCL calls all the shots and NOA has no real power they can't license the hell out of the franchises like they used to do, heck they can't even market the games how they want or choose which games will be localized if NCL doesn't let them. Normally you'd think it'd be best the parent company to have control over its international dealings but in this case NOA did a fantastic job in the 80s/90s and some of that magic is gone since NCL took over, same thing happened with Sega and Sega of America.
This disappoints me greatly too. NCL seems way too scared to push out Nintendo products to that extent now.

Pikmin / Man, what is taking the third one so long?
« on: April 18, 2011, 04:38:21 AM »
If they're this hard at work on it, then why are they so scared/hesitant to showcase any traces of info on it at all, besides the occasional notice that it's being worked on?

Better yet, if Nintendo's so proud and possessive of Pikmin, then why don't they get more of it going?

Eh, this E3 is our best bet...

I have rarely, if ever, found a fan of F-Zero.
Figured out why?

Because they're too busy ramming their heads up Captain Falcon's ass to even know anything about the series.

I'd like trophies, but how many would they make? Every single one? And how big would they be? My whole room would be full o' those things...
Well, they'd clearly go with the most important elements of each series. Everything else could be optional and/or free game.

No, plushies are enuff. >:C

I ONLY WANT THE PLUSHIES.

BECAUSE YOU CAN'T HUG A FIGURINE.

Nintendo Gaming / Should Nintendo produce real-life SSB-like trophies?
« on: April 12, 2011, 04:32:27 AM »
There are times in which I wish Nintendo would use its past "experience" (well, to be fair, years have passed since those days) with toy making and use it to make various models of things we Nintendo fans like, like actual SSB-like trophies or Pokémon Figurines.

As they'd certainly add more to the collection, I'd happily pay for a great deal of them and collect them to bits. After all, they're that huge a company, so I'm sure they can set it up.

I could go on with what there should be of them, but I'll hold it off right here for now.

You people had forgotten about DiC's Captain N: The Game Master and Ruby-Spears' Saturday Supercade!? Crossover series did exist before, and they were terrible!
Isn't that the point?

They were so terrible that we WANT to forget about them.

Mario / Recap topic: Paper Mario The Book of Ages (game idea)

Cue idiotic post by Hope(N Forever) about how he is personally offended by this because it "breaks teh canon of paper mario series!!!11" and that it ruined the Mario series(!!!111).

Either that or something about how the author of this should make a WarioWare DIY microgame that involves Mario jumping on that clock villain's head.

Zero Mission did kind of the suitless (without armor) thing playable.

They should manage that again, if they try another platformer of it.

Eh, better yet, this design could be used for a different character in the Metroid series. A GFed spy helping Samus out or something, I guess.

NIWA Discussion / F-Zero fans and fansites

(Spurned off of the Kid Icarus topic here)

Has anyone been able to find any F-Zero fansites? Or fans of the series so far? I've gone around and I've found none at all.

I understand that F-Zero hasn't been active since 2004 (man, when will another come anyway?), but are there any vocal fans and communities about the series around?

So basically, random people can do better things than Nintendo.

Excuse me. Isn't the site Kid Icarus Shrine considered a Kid Icarus fansite? Although, granted, it is mostly focused on merely the first game (since it is one of the host's video game shrines), and it doesn't really have a community. Regardless, this site is ridiculously full on info about everything about the original Kid Icarus. You might find the site's archives very helpful indeed.
...That site hasn't been updated in ages, and it's dead as of now.

Okay, so they've tried some animated series of Nintendo franchises before, but they didn't turn out so well.

But who's saying that they can't do it much better a second time?

If there's to be another Mario animated series, then it has to be exactly like the intro sequences to Mario Golf Toadstool Tour and Mario Power Tennis (CGI and all). Both of which were more entertaining than the games themselves. If these don't just scream "Mario animated series", then I don't know what does.

If there's to be something animated with Zelda, I'd wager it would be a full length feature anime movie of Ocarina of Time.

Or maybe one with the Wind Waker style. Something like this.

And those plans by Yamauchi were scrapped a long time ago. That's not going to happen, don't count on it.

Peanut64 isn't active as much to handle it.

So if anyone else is around and willing to try more with it, let's get in and try to make use of this Mario Fanon Wiki!

Before they start on a Kid Icarus Wiki. I'm saying they should wait for Uprising to release first before they do that.

...Seriously, do you have that hard a time understanding such simple things? -___-

You're getting way too ahead of the game with this one.

Just wait for Uprising to release before you get to it.

Geez, I'm STILL getting them!

Maybe the staff here can just kill my account off. I'm no longer interested in posting here as much anyway.
