Stupid act is stupid. Giving the government too much control is never a good thing.

Super Smash Bros / Re: Characters in Next SSB
« on: August 29, 2011, 08:00:11 AM »
I'm sorry, but when an entire battle lasts seven episodes, and there is no character personality development throughout a seven episode battle, It gets kinda boring, I've felt this way about Dragonball Z since I was seven, but when I was 12, I liked the clarity of where the plot was in Dragonball GT, there was much less need for recaps.
A battle lasting seven episodes, I felt like I was watching a long drawn out version of Mega Pirahna, except because the fight scenes lasted longer than movie fight scenes from any generation.  They could've saved the long battles for finales and major plot turnovers, and they could've added more plot twist secrets revealed by enemies, but not right away, they tease the heroes about their secret and take most of it either to the grave, or in their escape, it would've made a better series that way, more suspense.  Also, if you like classic Crash Bandicoot, I make lots of Classic Crash Flipnotes, If you think Crash would make a good Smasher, say so now, I think Cortex would make a good AT/NPC antagonist, speaking mainly in his Trademark evil laughter with a few spoken lines such as, "Finnish Him!" Cortex himself would send out unique mutants designed specifically for Adventure mode, until his Boss Battle with him piloting his mech.
If anyone thinks Crash should be a Smasher, say something, and There's a link to my Flipnotes in my sig; Crash Bandicoot Channel shortcut command is Left, X, Y, Down, X, Y, but I may have switched the Arrow buttons up...
As much as I hate to go off-topic, Dragon Ball Z is a classic and always will be. GT, on the other hand? It's alright, yeah, but nowhere near the level of Z. Maybe I'm just saying that because I grew up with it. The plot was awesome (full of offspring from the future, long-lost relatives, alien mercenaries, and epic deaths) and the battles were too if they had enough hype going for them. Then again, that's just my opinion. One more thing: don't compare DBZ to crappier versions of crap movies! That is all.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Am I the only one disappointed with the 3DS?
« on: August 21, 2011, 06:49:14 AM »
I was extremely disappointed with the 3DS when it first came out. The games that came out with it were crap compared to launch titles of other Nintendo systems (where was Mario?) and I had to settle with Street Fighter even though I already have a version of it on the PS3. The only awesome game that came out nearest after its release was Ocarina of Time and that's a remake. But then there came Netflix and the Ambassador program and now I'm kind of glad I got a 3DS so early. And also, Kingdom Hearts.  ;D Though to be honest, I rarely use 3D.

And as for my thoughts on Wii U, I'm so glad Nintendo is finally moving on to HD and online play (that can hopefully compare to PS360's) but I'm afraid that it might be too late for them and Sony/Microsoft will start a step ahead next generation.  :(

Blackberry Bold. I have T-Mobile right now, used to have Verizon though. I like Verizon better.

Funky Kong all the way.  ;D I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get this game on launch because of all the other releases taking place in November (Uncharted 3, Super Mario 3D Land, Sonic Generations, etc.) but when I get the money, it's a definite buy for me.

As for the Miis, I doubt Nintendo will come up with anything transferable. I think they're saving 3DS compatibility for the Wii U.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: 3DS Price Drops To $169 AUG, 12th
« on: July 31, 2011, 05:19:53 PM »
So all I have to do is log on to the eshop, no downloading needed?
Yeah, that's basically it. I'm glad Nintendo is compensating the fans that bought it for $250. They didn't have to do it (price drops happen all the time, though this one is a bit earlier than I expected) so it's a nice gesture. Thank you, Nintendo. ^_^
Assumedly, yes? It would be nice if I got some sort of confirmation statement. "Yes, you have been added as an Ambassador and will receive your downloads in due time."
Agreed.

Futurama has been crap since it came back.
Simpsons and Family Guy used to be good.
American Dad is still good.
Yeah, there haven't been too many new great Futurama episodes, but it should be worth mentioning. What other show has a selfish drinking robot? I agree that Family Guy used to be good, dunno about The Simpsons though since I rarely watch it. I heard some stuff about how while Family Guy is starting to suck, American Dad is starting to get better. I dunno though.
The Simpsons is great
Family Guy/American Dad/The Cleveland Show are steaming piles of crap.
Futurama was good.
I used to thing Family Guy was stupid but that was before I watched it (y'know, when it first came out and all it seemed to be was a Simpsons rip-off). It's actually hilarious (the best seasons being 3-6 imo). I get you criticizing the later seasons, which actually are steaming piles of crap, but FG has some of the funniest jokes and parodies I've ever seen in a TV show. I just don't like how McFarlene decided to create The Cleveland Show. WTH was the point of that?

Family Guy is awesome, the newer episodes are pretty bad though. The Simpsons is funny, the movie is an easy favorite.

You forgot Futurama.  :(

Trying to make a Wander/ Agro and Crono one. Suggestions?

who are they and what game do they come from?
Wander is the main character of Shadow of the Colossus and Agro is his horse. Crono is the main character of Chrono Trigger.

As for their move sets, I have no idea, though I'd imagine Crono's moves would come from Chrono Trigger. Luminaire would make a good final smash (maybe).

Eh, I'm not sure if I can put them in any order either.

  • Krillin (Dragon Ball)
  • L Lawliet (Death Note)
  • Yoichi Hiruma (Eyeshield 21)
  • Anko Mitarashi (Naruto)
  • Chrome Dokuro (Katekyo Hitman Reborn)
  • Fuko Ibuki (Clannad)
  • Toshiro Hitsugaya (Bleach)
  • Lelouch Lamperouge (Code Geass)
  • Makoto Sawatari (Kanon)

You have to watch Clannad. That show is so awesome.

I remember watching the 4kids dub of Pokemon first. Pokemon started at 4:00 and Yu-Gi-Oh started right after that. How about top 10 anime characters?

I know you can do that, it's just weird. So what was the first anime you watched?

Hey, it's on Netflix's instant stream. And every episode is 5 minutes long? Really? Huh. So it's comedy, right? Because by looking at the silly episode descriptions, that's what it seems to be.

I'm in love with Japan already.

Wow, looks cool! A show about the Axis Powers of World War II. Where do you find this stuff? I have to watch it. How many episodes does it have?

Looks really nice.  ;D The name reminds me of Lolo/Eggerland though.

Not that that's a problem.  ;D Just a question: on the battle screenshot, why does it say "[Normal]" under their names and stats? Is that for status or something (like Poison, Zombie, Sleep, whatever)?

They're not trying to offend anyone. It's just what it comes off as to people with no sense of humor.

Well, this is getting off-topic, you hate South Park and I can't change that by arguing, SO let's talk anime.
