Nintendo News

Nintendo World Championships - After previously reviving the competition at E3 2015, Nintendo have announced the Nintendo World Championships 2017! Qualifiers took place at eight Best Buy stores across the US on August 19, while the actual tournament will start on October 7 in New York. You can learn more on the official website.

Miiverse - Nintendo have announced that Miiverse will be shutting down worldwide on November 7. For more info, see here.

Nintendo in July - NPD Group sales data for July has been released, and shows that the Nintendo Switch was once again the best-selling hardware for that month. In addition, Splatoon 2 was the overall best-selling game.

Nintendo Switch sales - As of August 27, just under six months since the console's launch in March, the Nintendo Switch has sold over 1.5 million units in Japan alone, according to sales figures released by Media Create.
