Metroid: Samus Returns is a 2.5D Nintendo 3DS title in the Metroid series, and a remake of Metroid II: Return of Samus, originally released for Game Boy in 1991. The game will be released in September 2017.

The game will be releasing with a pair of Metroid amiibo, depicting Samus Aran and a Metroid. A special edition version of the game will also be released that includes a soundtrack CD.
