The Nintendo 3DS (Japanese: ニンテンド３ＤＳ Nintendo 3DS) is an upcoming portable console developed by Nintendo. It is the successor of the original Nintendo DS. The main focus of the device is the ability to display a 3D screen, without the need of using glasses. It is scheduled to be released in Spring 2011.
