Tsuushin Taikyoku: World Chess is a discontinued Japan-only WiiWare game. Players were able to do chess battles online, using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, before the service was terminated.

The game was a downloadable version of Wii Chess (a game previously only released in Europe), and was marketed as part of the Tsuushin Taikyoku series.
