Well you all are missing out on 3 excellent RPGs with the best thought story. I recommnd you pick up the new one, even if you never played the first two it's understandable and different by itself.

yes you are, there is a lot of talking especially at the beginning/endings, but they are great games

I can't speak for Dark Dawn, since it hasn't been released here yet, but I'm playing the first one at the moment, and loving it.
