The artwork isn't bad, it's just archaic and obsolete.

I'm starting to get a bit doubtful about GBA being readily available, they might wait to release it or you might have to buy an add on. The reason being is that the 3DS might not be able to hold the games since they might be too big, like the GCN for the Wii.
I blame the economy.

Hmm... that might be a good point. GBC games are usually only like, 1MB in size (that's what I noticed when I just glanced at the couple of Pokemon ROMs I have, there might be bigger ones), while the GBA is usually 16MB (with a max of 32).

That still doesn't seem like it's much of a problem at all for modern hard drives, though.

They have confirmed Super Mario Land & a Zelda game with screenshots,

...also X games and Olypmic Gold Medalist Shaun White says his favorite character in the N64 version of Super Smash Bros. is "Zelda" obviously he hasn't played Zelda games, or the other two Smash Bros. Games, or he'd know Zelda was the princess that the character rescued, and not Link.
QuoteShaun White's top 5 Favorite Characters
1. King Koopa; He's Huge, they even made movies about him.
2. Donkey Kong; He throws Barrels you have to jump over, it's ridiculous, but we keep playing it.
3. Mario "The last game I remember playing was a Mario one, the first one.
4. Zelda "You remember Smash Bros., the N64 game.  He was my go-to-guy in that game."
5. Prince of Persia

Do you mean Balloon Kid?, which I have along with Solar Striker and Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters. Although they don't save anymore.

I already have Balloon Kid within ~3 feet of me right now  :), though there was an enhanced version of it named ?????????? (Balloon Fight GB) which was only released in Japan (2000). The original Balloon Kid was never released in Japan and only in North America and Europe.  Balloon Kid's release (1990/1991) was before that of the Game Boy Color's so it used one of the built in default color palettes and frankly the colors weren't too good (red water in Balloon Trip mode for example). Also, Balloon Kid wasn't a game that saved, so the top Balloon Trip score resets to 25,000 every time you soft reset or turn the game off and if you wanted to re-play a particular stage you would have to go through the whole game again. Balloon Fight GB had a world map to pick through the stages, though I suppose it doesn't matter much because the game itself is really short.

Nevertheless, its a shame that we didn't get the enhanced version. There was also a slightly bizarre special edition of our Balloon Kid but only released in Japan, called Hello Kitty World for the Famicom in 1992 which substituted Balloon Fight GB which didn't come until eight years later .

Metroid II would be fun... Definitely all the Kirby Dream Lands.

Agreed. This way, i can play a Metroid game, and get my classic Kirby on.

If they Re Release Blue or Yellow to VC, it should have the 100 Johto Pokemon Programed in, allowing it to be compatible with Crystal VC.  & Pikachu's Surf minigame in International Game Corner for both, with memory match & Voltorb Flip card game in Crystal GC!
Mystery Gift feature to download Mew, & Wi-Fi Trading/Battles at Indigo Plateau
All multiplayer funtions are updated, but use the same graphics.

Name a VC game that's been edited that heavily before.

Yeah.

I think the heaviest editing was fixing the typo in Mario 64.

tacopill

It was my understanding that this VC would be enhanced enough to allow them to edit the games. See, my conclusion on this post of this very thread.

Mari-Illustrious-Makinami

Based on the hands-on account of it by NintendoLife, it's not.
