This pokemon's fetus got its genes spliced.
-
Mewtwo
This Pokémon existed 300 million years ago. It was then modified by Team Plasma and was made a cannon to use its move Techno Blast, which changes type according to the cassette its holding, similiar to Arceus's Judgement move.
-
Mewtwo
Wrong. Read again the question.
Also Genesect.
-
Genes spliced...Genes spliced...I've got nothing. Any hints?
-
Mew?
If so, this Pokemon is the first Pokemon to make an appearance in the anime. I will accept one of two answers.
-
Is it Ho-oh?
If so, then this pokémon crushes pokémon between its two parts in one of its attacks.
-
That would be Bellossom, no?
The only Pokémon whose species is "Legendary Pokémon" despite not being a legendary.
Yes it is.
Is it Ho-oh?
If so, then this pokémon crushes pokémon between its two parts in one of its attacks.
Not Ho-oh, it appeared at the episode's end. Don't know question's answer, so that is the next question I guess.
Mew?
If so, this Pokemon is the first Pokemon to make an appearance in the anime. I will accept one of two answers.
There's actually four answers to that question. Mewtwo in out-of-Japan anime opening, Nidorino/Gengar in the actual anime, and Charizard in Japanese opening.

Nidorino and Gengar were the ones I was thinking of.
-
Yes it's Mew, you just had to check for the wording of the question. ;P
-
I don't think it's Ho-Oh. I think it might be one of the Kanto starters or Dodrio. Or maybe Voltorb or Pidgey.
-
I don't think it's Ho-Oh. I think it might be one of the Kanto starters or Dodrio. Or maybe Voltorb or Pidgey.
Do you mean for the first to appear in anime question? Because I already answered it. Answer is Nidorino/Gengar. The current question, from Seritinajii, is:
this pokémon crushes pokémon between its two parts in one of its attacks.
-
Is it Ho-oh?
If so, then this pokémon crushes pokémon between its two parts in one of its attacks.
This is kind of vague. You might want to give another hint.
-
...Snorlax?...
If it is, then I have two questions:
1. This Pokémon was the first Isshu Pokémon to appear in the anime.
2. This Pokémon is based on a human dancer.
HINT: Both Pokémon are from Generation V (Isshu).
-

If it is, then I have two questions:
1. This Pokémon was the first Isshu Pokémon to appear in the anime.
2. This Pokémon is based on a human dancer.
HINT: Both Pokémon are from Generation V (Isshu).
1. Depends on your meaning of anime. Movies included, its Zorua. If not, Zekrom/Reshiram?
-
Well I meant the actual anime, but it's still the wrong answer.
-
On second thought, it should be right. The first Pokémon that actually appeared was Mamanbou(something like that), but I guess you can say Zekrom or Reshiram.
Although my second question hasn't been answered, here is another one.
This legendary Pokémon is actually NO.000 on the Isshu Déx, right before Tsutarja(which is the one I'm getting because it looks like Yoshi!)
-

Victini.
This Pokémon likes to bite moving things, but will run away if whatever it is biting attacks back.
-
I think Totodile or Poochyena...
This Pokémon wears its mother's skull as a memory and cries when he/she looks at the moon when they see their mother's face on it...It is too easy.
-

Cubone!
This Pokémon is hated by many in the fandom for its weakness, and evolutions for it were wanted. When a possible one appeared some months ago, it turned out to not be its evolution and instead a stand-alone one.

Yeah I got that on my previous post; I messed up on the quoting though.
The new question is: What is the second Generation 2 Pokemon to appear in the anime?
-
Togepi.
Thunder echoes when this Pokémon runs.
-
Raikou!
This is the only pure flying type Pokémon.
-

Zeburaika is right. Answer to question is Unown?
If so, this Pokémon starts the National dex.
-
It is not Unown, but the answer to your question is Bulbasaur.
-
Mudkipzz.
-
No, I'll give another hint though. It's only major appearance in the anime is in its self-titled movie.
-
Arceus?
-
Well I agree with A. Probably Arceus. If not, I'll say Lucario.
This Pokémon resembles Yoshi.
-
Still not it. Two more hints:
- It can emerge from a Poke Ball in SSBB
- It is a generation 3 Pokemon
-
Deoxys? If not it, Jirachi.
-
Latios and Latias!
This Pokémon resembles Yoshi.
-
It is Jirachi.
-
What about my question?
-
What about my question?
It's all based on opinion, so not a very good one. I think Larvitar looks like it, but you might see differently.
-
Well I agree with A. Probably Arceus. If not, I'll say Lucario.
This Pokémon resembles Yoshi.
Cranidos?
-
Well I agree with A. Probably Arceus. If not, I'll say Lucario.

This is the only Pokémon that evolves twice by trading.
-
Porygon.
This is a fossil Pokemon from generation one that is not in an evolutionary family.
-
Aerodactyl.
This Pokémon can see the past and the future.
-
Xatu
not counting the use of a special plate, this is the only type with out a legendary Pokémon.
-
For everyone who answered my question, I guess you were all right. It IS based on opinion. So you can say Larvitar, Bagon, and Cranidos all apply. But the answer was originally Tsutarja.
Lord Ferrok: ??? What type?
-
@Lord Ferrok: The ??? type!
Is there a Shadow legendary? I guess XD001 counts.
Anyway, the answer to my other one was the Gear. It has an attack where it crushes the opponent between its gears - OUCH!
So if I'm right, then this pokémon was the second to steal Ash's hat in the anime.
-

Your correct on primape, although, technically donuts were the dubname for rice balls. They use the correct name in later series.

I really meant to correct him on the pokémon that stole his hate.. oh well.
If I'm "right" then I'll let A make another.
-
Well actually no. The answer was Onix, signature of Brock, who has that weird meme about donuts.
For a question, this species unfolds when it's really sunny.
-
Cherrim...duh...
As of Generation VI, this is the last Pokémon on the Pokédex.....JK!!!
The REAL question iiiissss......When this Pokemon roars, a volcano somewhere around the world erupts.

No. Wrong context.
Then I'm unsure. Zapdos, Xatu, Espeon, and Persian are based on Native American mythological symbols, but I don't think that's what you mean. Wargle appears to be based on America in general, and that's all I got.

Lord Ferrok:
Dodrio? I am guessing it's a Generation V Pokémon...

These three Pokémon are the mascots of three games that might have been based off something in Ocarina of Time.

Groudon.
This species was the only one to gain a prevolution and an evolution in the same generation, but with it being revealed in an earlier generation.
-
Lord Ferrok:
again your question is based off opinion
Actually, I said "might". It was Rayquaza, Kyogre, and Groudon. They were the mascots of Emerald, Ruby, and Sapphire versions, which might be based off the Kokiri Emerald, Goron Ruby, and Zora Sapphire.

This Pokémon was the first created.
Rhydon?
Actually, I think it's Mew. Nintendo applied for a trademark on "Mew" in 1990, a full nine years before Pokemon became a global phenomenon.
Actually, Mew was the first to have its name applied for a trademark but according to the Official Nintendo Magazine Australia and New Zealand (Issue 23, November 2010, page 057):
What was the first Pokémon ever created? Pikachu? Nope. Charmander? Afraid not, good sir. According to Ken Sugimori, the man behind Pokémon artwork, it was actually Rhydon, That's why the generic icon for Pokémon in the game looks like a Rhydon, and why all the statues in the Kanto gyms look like a Rhydon. Incedentally, in case you were wondering, the last one created in the original game was Victreebel.
This one is the first (and as far as I know, the only) Pokémon with a Canonical Scientific Name (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binomial_nomenclature).
Oddish. (Oddium Wanderus)
Kabutops has one too (Kabutops maximis), and it appeared an anime episode before FireRed and LeafGreen were released, so it was the first.

Well, since Tacopill didn't put a "Who's that Pokemon" question, my turn! ;D
Even though based of a Tree, this Pokemon is hard as rock.
-
Bonsly.
And I don't think that Turtwing's question was answered, so i am going to repeat it.
This species freezes their breathe to grow fangs for fighting.

There's also Sudowoodo, but yeah, my question hasn't yet been answered (copied in above post).

This species freezes their breathe to grow fangs for fighting.
Well, WRONG!
Really? It's based on a bonsai, a mini tree in a container. Even so, you should remain calm about it, for only calmness will give the answer. But anyway, is Sudowoodo is the answer like I stated earlier.
-
Correct. :eekdance:
Next. Though somewhat useless, this Pokemon can evolve into a more beautiful, and more popular Pokemon.
-
The answer is Feebas. Turtwig A still has his question thoug haha...
This species freezes their breathe to grow fangs for fighting.

In the anime, this is the main Pokemon of Team Rocket's leader.
It could be persian (his top pet), or one of the pokemon he used in the battle against Gary: Nidoking, Golem, or Kingler.
-
I was thinking of Persian.
-
Mewtwo
This species was the most secretive one ever; barely anybody knew about it.
Mew
This Pokémon had its name misspelled in one of its Pokédex entries.
-
Mawhile
This Pokémon is shown to be very untasty.
-
Mawhile
This Pokémon is shown to be very untasty.
Surely there are plenty, almost all Poison-type Pokémon would taste bad, but I'm assuming there is a Pokémon whose Pokédex entry specifically states it.
I'm going to guess Grimer or Muk.
-
Well..... :P
This Pokemon is given to you on Cianwood Island for free.

No. It's been shown to taste bad in the anime at least twice.

Farfetch'd... again?
This Pokémon is to its preevolution as Giovanni is to Team Rocket, if that makes any sense.
-
Farfetch'd
This pokemon is said to carry food with it wherever it goes, using it as weaponry when threatened.
Farfetch'd... again?
Not quite... Let me try another hint:
This pokemon's signature move may either hurt or heal the enemy at random.
This Pokémon is to its preevolution as Giovanni is to Team Rocket, if that makes any sense.
Team Rocket as a whole, or the specific trio that constantly appears in the anime?

It's irrelevant.

Milotic?
Not sure what the analogy is supposed to mean, but most evolved forms are considered better than their previous forms.

It's freakin' Honchkrow. >:(

This Pokemon is given to you on Cianwood Island for free.
They don't exactly give it to you, but let you borrow it, and if you treat it well enough, you CAN keep it. In conclusion, it's Shuckle :P

Well, he does because you only have to give it back if you talk to him if you talk to him again.
Since there are no open questions...
This Pokémon's number of fingers has changed between its sprites.

Mr. Mime.
This Pokémon's Red/Blue sprite had its arms extended but they were never shown extended again in any later games.

This Pokemon is Whitney's most annoying Pokemon.
Miltank?
This Pokémon in Generation I had two zig-zag patterns (elongated W like symbols) on its backsprite but lost them as soon as Generation II.
-
We really need to institute a "no opinions" or "facts only" rule.
-
This game has officially become utterly confusing. I propose that we make some rules to organize it a little:
1. No questions involving opinion.
2. No posts that either don't answer a question, put a question, or both.
3. Questions will only be answered once, unless an act of same time posting happens. If a question was given an incorrect answer, the answer will be put by the asker the next time they post.
Now to answer some questions that have not yet been answered from what I've seen.
"This pokemon's signature move may either hurt or heal the enemy at random."
Delibird.
"This Pokémon in Generation I had two zig-zag patterns (elongated W like symbols) on its backsprite but lost them as soon as Generation II."
Kingler?
The question: This species feeds on electricity by attaching to power lines.
-
Electabuzz.
This Pokémon's evolutions' Japanese names are the same as its but with an extra gi added at the beginning with each evolution.

3. Questions will only be answered once, unless an act of same time posting happens. If a question was given an incorrect answer, the answer will be put by the asker the next time they post.
Rules 2 and 3 took awhile for me to understand (the wording was a little confusing). Let me clarify:
2.) If you answer a question, you must ask a question, and vice versa.
3.) Questions can only be answered once, even if the first answer was incorrect. The only person who can correct the answer is the person who asked the question. An asker correcting an incorrect answer is the only exception to Rule 2.
-

Actually, I was intending that rule 2 says that all posts would have to do both, and rule 3 would still make it so that rule 2 in effect. They would just have to put it between the question and answer. For example, let's say there were some posts, the first one says:
This species drinks water to harden its shell.
Now the next one posts:
Squirtle

Agreed. These rules should be edited into the first post.

Lawrence III, but I thought this was limited to Pokémon.
This Pokémon recently appeared at Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade for the tenth time.

Porygon (unless you want the final form, which is Porygon-Z)
When Ash performed his first trade in the anime, this is the pokemon he received.
-
Raticate
This Pokémon is the only Flying-type Pokémon to have Levitate.
Also, I don't like rule #2 that much; if someone gets an answer wrong and someone else knows the correct answer, they should be allowed to correct it.
-
None. A flying type doesn't need Levitate, anyways. It's a waste of an ability D:
This Pokémon's species name contains the name of the main character of another NIWA wiki's subject.
-
Vulpix.
This Pokémon is the subject of a popular internet meme involving breeding.
-
Skitty or Wailord

Actually (I had to look this up), Fan Rotom's secondary type is Flying, and it keeps its Levitate ability regardless of form, so Rotom fits the bill, sometimes.

Magikarp/Feebas I guess....
Hey! Nobody answered my question!
This Pokémon resembles an Octorok.
Edit: Sorry, I didn't notice that BrandedOne answered my question. Tentacruel AND Octillery are correct. Tentacruel resembles OoT, MM, WW octoroks, and Gambler's answer, Octillery resembles the original artwork of an Octorok. So both are correct :)
-
Um, Octillery?
Well, it's orange and octopus, so yeah.
-
Magikarp/Feebas I guess....
Hey! Nobody answered my question!
This Pokémon resembles an Octorok.
Because it broke a rule. Remember, no opinionated questions. Also remember that a post must have both a question and an answer. And there are no available questions, so I'll answer my own question:
What is the mascot of the series?
Pikachu
So, next question:
This species was featured in an anime episode where a Master Ball failed to capture it.
-
Wiscash. He ate it D:
Time for another Multi Pokémon Quéstion! (Invented by me :P) Rules are simple. The answer will be multiple Pokémon, but the amount will not be revealed.

Victini/Bikutini
By the way, is there any way the game's rules can be enforced? Because giving warnings that lead to banning seem way too harsh, and doing nothing is too lenient.
This species is featured in a commercial, where it walks into a bus containing other species and gets smooshed with them.

Could somebody remove the rule about correcting? Nobody's really following it, so it doesn't really have a need. And can somebody make a method for people breaking the game's rules? For example, the last post broke two rules, but nothing happened. It sort of ruins the game if nobody posts a question.

4.) Questions have to involve cannon Pokémon series, (games, anime, etc)
