I find that the Mystery Dungeon games have the most intricate and artistic plot. Explorers of Darkness is by far my favorite though... I liked how Sky brought back Grovyle... but somehow... it effected me more to know he was dead than to know he was alive...

3rd, for some reason I never liked 2nd gen to much, maybe it was due to getting Oracle of Seasons shortly after getting Gold and having more fun with that

Reviving topic: My favorite games are definitely in the side series, considering I started the series with them. First place is Mystery Dungeon: Explorer's of Time, followed by Stadium, and then Yellow.
