Really, she's awesome. I don't watch the anime much, but I do read the Pokemon Adventures Manga (which is based of the games, not the anime) Sabrina's awesome in there (although a bit cruel). I saw Sabrina in the anime also, for four episodes, and she kicked  *... (is this a profanity free web site?)

She's one of the only trainers that can KO Pokemon without even using her own Pokemon.

I also liked Erika for some reason (again, in the Manga, she rocks)

And I recently saw quite a few anime episodes and Dawn.....well, I don't hate her, but she's so annoying.

Wait, Piplup was a bad choice?

But yeah, Piplup was a "bad" choice if one wanted to have overall good match ups at the start of their journey. Later on though, Empolean has many resistances and an immunity (I believe). Plus, Piplup looks awesome (not that ugly Prinlup though ) And Empolean looks even more awesome ^^

What do you think is the worst Pokemon DESIGNS? Not the worst overall, just the worst design. (Although the two are highly related often, look at Luvdisc )
In my opinion, the Pokemon with the worst design is Infernape. it's name is even unoriginal.

What kind of person would chose to create a creature like this?

It's obvious that they just slapped together this creature at the last minute to coincide with it's previous forms. Sorry to Infernape lovers (it's actually a good Pokemon in battle) but I cannot stand it's design.

I HATE Totodile.
Yes, it wasn't as bad as Chikorita if you wanted an easy time, but I don't care about weaknesses against Gym Leaders (all the Gyms are easy anyway, especially in Johto...except that freaking Whitney and her Miltank). I usually chose the Pokemon that would be weak against the first few gyms without even knowing it. Piplup, for example, has become my favorite starter, despite being the "hard mode" of Sinnoh. It's good against the first gym, but has a hard time with the next few gyms. Although I guess Chimchar is also hard to use at the  very start of Sinnoh. I just can't stand Totodile. Chimchar is another Pokemon I can't stand (well, mostly Monferno and Infernape, it's evolutions, those overused imps).

Ah, Hell yeah, Pinball, I love listening to the instrumental version of the JP Pokemon theme.

I never played the pinball games, because I remember thinking "Pinball? Must be lame" But now everyone seems to like it and I regret not playing it >>

Definitely Platinum/DP, then LeafGreen/Firered and then Crystal.

I liked Yellow a lot when I was a kid, but I see it now as slightly dull, compared to the remakes. And I played Sapphire the month the first Hoenn games were released, but Sapphire did not amaze me....
I cannot wait for the NA release of HG/SS, they will probably top the list, and I'm really anxious about Geneation V (Roroark looks stupid to me....) and I hope that the V Gen is interesting with new features.

Sinnoh, I love. I like the colder atmosphere. I'm glad I'm the only one who voted for it ><
So Sinnoh, then Johto, then Kanto and lastly Hoenn. I could never stand Hoenn's dull look and many forgettable pokemon.

Anyway, my favorite pokemon is definitely Jirachi.
I also like Espeon, Empoleon, Kyogre, and ........

Jigglypuff (because of the Smash series, which she sucks in but is so fun to use) 

And neither the English or Japanese names can be said to be "better." Obviously, whicever one you learned first is likely to be your favorite.
