Alright, so many wikis have experienced severe vandalism. It's no secret that Wikipedia was vandalized at probably a daily level. Yes yes, vandalism is bad and annoying. But especially any wiki staff out there will know that wiki vandalism can be freaking hilarious haha. So post away any links to wiki vandalism!

I'm posting this thread because a fellow Metroid Wiki admin (Metroidking) showed me this hilarious piece of vandalism:

I remember stumbling upon this on Simple English Wikipedia (yeah, I was really bored)... *giggle* It stayed up there for like, two months, too!

There were also a couple on Bulbapedia that were funny (I can't help but laugh when someone registers under something ridiculous like "LIBERALS AND GAYS AND SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE IS THE DEVIL"), although I can't think of any specifics. Usually they're really uncreative and just go "Pokemon is gay hur hur", though. Boring.

I love real people's articles on Wikipedia. The vandalism that appears is just awesome. :D

Grawp was funny in some ways, though he lost all fun when he made me have to wait two more months before I joined Bulbapedia

Please give me internets! So much less bulkier than those eggs.

He spammed with hundreds of accounts making fun of other users who opposed him. I just found the part of moving pages to Hagger with a bunch of question marks funny.

I could flood this thread with stuff from StrategyWiki.
  • One user, about a month ago, filled the SimCity 4 guide with links to UK hair extension companies and bankruptcy lawyers from Orlando.
  • Another filled a MapleStory page with random phrases and repetition of Chuck Norris' name. Never a good idea.
  • Some time before I joined, a certain user vandalised much of the wiki, and created many spam accounts. This user renamed some help pages to "StrategyWiki:Guide f*** [admin's name here]". The spam accounts generally had names that insulted many admins at once. The admins quickly got sick of banning so many accounts, and the block reasons became simply "User has no life".
  • A few users edit pages with something like "your site is broken i can edit lololol". Their editing rights are quickly removed in some cases.

That sounds exactly like what BP had back with Grawp. XD Hell we did the "User has no life" block reason and everything, iirc. (Great minds think alike?)

Oh gawd, this vandal before MW had any really active admins... that was the worst. He moved pages such as "Kraid" to "Kraid is a fat f**ka" It was hilarious haha, yeahh. Oh yeah his username was "Metroid has fat t*ts"

:P Sometimes when I'm bored I'll anonymously vandalize Wikipedia and ignore anything they say. I'm a little devil.
I blame the economy.

I had a friend who liked to add "Mermaids" to the list of Oceania wildlife.
