The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

Some consider it a cheap knock-off of Ocarina of Time, some complain about it's three day system. For me however it is the greatest of them all. The atmosphere is great; never has a town in a Zelda game so vivid. The three-day system allows the inhabitants of Clock Town to have their own daily businesses. I like games with so many details.

Majora's Mask has touched me deep inside. The game is just awesome.
"Will you stop?!!? What fools!
Haven't you begun to understand? The kingdom being ruined and us left in this state...
Isn't it petty, little battles like this that have caused it?
Believing in your friends and embracing that belief by forgiving failure...
These feelings have vanished from our hearts."

I never really understood why people hated on the three-day system, and it is a close second among zelda games for me, followed by a link to the past.

I actually find it hard to explain why i prefered OoT, i just liked it more.

Most people who complain about it probably didn't even play long enough to lift the Deku curse on Link and discover the Inverted Song of Time which allows you to slow down time significantly. So they begin, dawdle (time flows a little faster during the first play-through), die, get frustrated, and hate the entire game for it. I'm not saying there aren't people who just don't like the game for a reason, but I'm talking about the annoying haters.

Oh, and it's not like I don't like OoT. It's one of my favourites, along with TWW. :P

I guess, but Zelda games usually involve having a LOT of patience, so the haters are probably people who expect the game to start off easily and have a nice little playthrough

Twilight Princess. I like Wind Waker almost as much as TP. And that's it for the Zelda games I have.

(Credit to Edofenrir for making it.)

Jing412

to me its a toss up between Ocarina and Twilight Princess

Zesty Cactus

My default favourite is Majora's Mask, but I have a soft spot for Wind Waker, too.

Since Zelda Twilight Princess was the 1st Zelda game I played when I was old enough to get it ::), it would have to be my favorite.  :eekdance:

I'm guessing that it's safe to say that Majora's Mask and OoT are the two favorites here.

No Wand of Gamelon, Faces of Evil, or Zelda's adventure on the poll?

Well, that way you could also ask why Link's Crossbow Training and Freshly Picked: Tingle's Rosy Rupee Land aren't on there.

It's a tie between Ocarina of Time and Link to the Past for me.

Spirit Tracks, with Twilight Princess at a close second.  Not sure why I like ST, probably that Link has a profession that is actually useful to game play.  Sure, Twilight-Princess-Link is a shepherd(or is it goat-herd?), but other than in the tutorial stages of the game and a heart piece, it's pretty much used only for bragging rights.
As a form of protest, I refuse to make a signature...
