Mario / Re: Favorite Mario Games? (Spin-offs included)

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. The game that re-ignited my passion for the Mario franchise some years ago. :mario:

For myself it is the very summit of the whole series. I don't expect any Mario game of the future to bring me the level of joy I experienced with that game. Most other games of the series aren't bad either, though.

Mudkip wasn't a horrible idea, but all three evolutions had a horrible design, which is why Mudkip is my least favorite starter. However, Chikorita is my favorite, and the hate he's getting it somewhat shocking to me. But meh.

I voted for Mudkip as well, pretty much because of the same reasons. I also have no problem with Chikorita, but well, that's the thing with opinions: They vary.

I'd like a Super Smash Bros. sub-board.
I'm not sure if we need one of those right now though. :/

I would assume that's why he posted it into the Suggestions thread, so we can clarify if we need one or not.

Lance, the champion of the Kanto Elite Four. I don't know why, but I just have a soft spot for stylish capes...

Morshu.

He counts.

Oh, for that matter:
I somewhat like the King of Hyrule and if he were in Brawl, I probably would buy the game.

no responsibility is taken for the correctness of this information

As soon as you train your Charmander properly to level 12 or 13, it completely wipes the floor with Brock's Pokémon, despite the type disadvantage. After that it becomes a very strong and rewarding Pokémon.

And, this is for the wikis: global login in all? Would be useful, eh?

I'm not sure about this. The one thing that would worry me is that we have some users that have accounts on two or more of the wikis... There might be some way of merging the accounts globally (I think they call it Userpering on Wikipedia). If all of the wikis would agree to that, then that would be good.
I don't really like the idea of merging accounts.

Neither do I.

Aside from that, it partly takes away the three wikis' independence. If a user trolls on one wiki, does he/she get banned everywhere, how does the administration work, etc.

D'awww, I completely forgot about Stone x_X
That one is awesome too.

Fire beams from the tip of your sword.

I'll go with the classic one.
Beside Sword I also like UFO a lot.

Thanks for the heads up Mario.
To be honest, I did sort of rush this list, so I couldn't think ahead of time.

None the less, your the boss so do what you have to do.
:P Mario

Anyhow, I think this is a pretty good idea. When I joined, I was disappointed to find one board. I could tell by the colors all over the online users list that there were at least four hidden boards but I couldn't see them so I think we should really have more boards that regular users can see or they will quickly lose interest.

The colours actually only stand for the staffs of the different wikis (Mariowiki is red, Bulbapedia is green, Zeldawiki is blue, etc.)

NIWA Discussion / Re: How did you find this place?
February 15, 2010, 07:23:22 PM
One day I fell asleep in the internet... When I woke up, this place had been built around me.

That's embarassing though, so I tell everyone I'm from the Mario Wiki.

It's sort of hard to find an independent Wiki since most of them are tied with Wikia. Probably because Wikia is free and easy to use to begin with.

That's exactly the reason why this organization was founded.

Apparently we're gonna get some sort of Meta-Wiki soon, so I suggest that we use the Super Mario Wiki's Meta-Wiki, Userpedia

Okay then.

Isn't that decision a little fast? oô

Maybe not, I always thought Yoshi was a girl though.

Yoshi is a species, so it's likely that there are both male and female Yoshis to be found.

My favourite character is King Bowser, but I also like several other characters, including Wario and Luigi, and also some less famous ones like Goombella, Koops, Koopie Koo, Vivian, Admiral Bobbery, Hooktail, Lady Bow, Sushie, and Geno.

Kafei and, on the same token, Anju from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Two well-developed characters who form the base of one of the most memorizable side-quests ever to be found in a Zelda game. That splendid display of emotions and character... I kind of miss it.

This game is truly a masterpiece among other games, despite what other Zelda fans may say.

Pokémon / Re: Your Favorite Pokemon

My favourite is the whole Charmander line, with most focus on Charizard.

I don't know why, but I seem to like Fire Pokémon very much.
