If they were to make a sequel to DK64, what new stuff (characters, weapons, animals) do you think they should include?

personally, i would like to see more weapons. the Original game had some pretty awesome ones, and i would like to see it continue.

Also, i don't fully recall: could one ride animal buddies in the game? if not, i think they should use the idea for the squeal.

You can ride animals in DK 64  it should have all characters have an animal to ride DK had Rambi and Lanky had enguarde

Nintendo might make a sequel to DK 64 for the 3DS and have some more areas maybe

Also they should add  some vehicles, Co-op play and maybe more support characters

Perhaps a few DKCR elements, such as stage interaction and ground pounding? Even if it means sacrificing the Kremlings. If no tikis, classic enemies please!

(note: if you thought the tikis and new enemies were a bad idea prepare for an argument).

Also, returning characters. I disliked the concept that we lost Dixie for Tiny and even Kiddy for Chunky. I mean, Tiny I could understand but Chunky is just a heavier DK in a vest. Little creativity. Lanky needs a makeover as well <_>.

I think the game has enough collecting  :o so no need for more than the original... a little 3DS zing could be cool as well.

they should add dixie kong as a character that would be cool

I think they should take out the puzzle pieces for something more creative and less overused.
I blame the economy.

I'm pretty sure it was both. Hence "overused".

Then, may i ask, why did you bring it up in a DK64 thread?

My bad, I was thinking of DKC.

I think a sequel should bring back Chunky Kong. I mean, when was the last time we've seen him? A DKC3 remake, and even then it was just a cameo. And I'm not counting SSBB because it even contains Chibi-Robo and Telly-Vision as trophies.

I'd also like to see the whole banana door things again, because I remember some sort of sound effect for getting a golden banana.

What about the blueprints? They're basically a puzzle.

Please give me internets! So much less bulkier than those eggs.

O, yea. I forgot about them.

But still, not sure if the concept was used as much in DK64 as it was BK.

They aren't that hard to find. They weren't in hidden place like puzzle pieces.

Wasn't saying they were hard to find. I was saying: the concept wasn't used like it was in BK.

As in:

  • How much time and Effort is put into collecting them?
  • How important are they for moving the game/story along?
  • How much of the game did they take up?
and similar questions.

2. they will give you extra time in the last area for each one collected (i think)
3 yit would take you a while to find them
