Naesla, my point wasn't that it actually makes it a different game.  It's that it's easy to justify it as being a different game.  Here's the Wikipedia article on the VC skipping straight to differences in the games.

It is just minor things, saving where you couldn't before and changes due to licensing and stuff like that.

Fan Creations / Juggle Chainsaws

With all humility, I bring you my NES chronogaming site Juggle Chainsaws.

The goal of Juggle Chainsaws is to play every game released for the NES in the United States roughly in chronological order.  The order is accurate down to the month and year.  I wish I could get more specific than that but it just can't happen due to NoA'a record keeping.

I'm not trying to finish the games, just trying to get a good enough idea of if the game is worth playing or not.  Something like Athena isn't.  Mighty Bomb Jack on the other hand is a game that I think a lot of people today don't really know about but is worth going back to play.

If this was just another review site it wouldn't really be anything special.  But I'm also doing a small statistical analysis at the end of each year's games.  So far the only one I've done is a combination of 1985 and 1986.  Starting with 1987's set of data things will be a bit more useful.

I'm also planning on putting in more general articles along the way.  One that I've started is a look at the different cover art styles of the different publishers and how things changed over time.

Anyway, I hope you can give my site a visit and I would love to hear what I can do to make it better.

If it did though, it would easily be the best Zelda animated thing ever.

Hello.  I guess it's time to do this.

I joined this board because I love Nintendo stuff.  I have a website, Juggle Chainsaws, where I'm attempting to play everything released in the US in chronological order.  Making up for lost time in my childhood.

Whenever I've needed to look up something about a game one of the best results I found was one of the affiliated wikis here.  So I figured I might as well join so I could get some discussion going too.

No it didn't.  That thing was so horrible it doesn't count.

Before the Wii had their virtual console stuff out I justified having ROMs for dead systems by saying that those games couldn't be purchased anymore anyway.  I always thought that games on collections didn't count.

Now it's a bit trickier, but since I've had the stuff for so long I don't think my opinion will change.  Especially since a good number of the VC versions have something changed about them.  Even if it's just a graphics upgrade it's easy to justify it as a different game.

The movie wasn't THAT HORRIBLE. But I'm excited for this.

It really was.  It was like Shyamalan had a 3 year old watch the series and tell him about it instead of watching it himself.  Except he must have watched the one with the guy who mispronounced everyone's name because that's what they are in the movie.

I watched it because I wanted to see how bad it was first hand.  It was bad.

If I was a chicken my favorite composer would be Bach.  Get it?

But for me, I'm a fan of Wagner and Copeland.

Not great by any means, but when it's on I enjoy watching it.  I just won't go seek it out.
