Over the course of many years, the three DS's between me and my brothers have suffered much:
1) My very first DS, white, has it's right screen-holder-thing off due to a drop. Yeah. Heh. Top screen DID work for a little while after, but right now it's barely holding on by a few wires on the left hinge. I still use the fully functioning bottom screen for brighter GBA experience.
2) SECOND black & blue colored DS suffers the same fate.
3) The only "good" DS, my brother's, is occasionally lost or dropped, but it survives to this day. (for now...)
PSP: Dropped a few times, scratched but alive.
2 GBAs: Sometimes lost.
Other technical things you hold in your hand and carry with you:
Old Razor cell phone: Droppings...
Current phone: Droppings, got a scratch or two running along the screen there.
iPod Nano: Drops occasionally. Still alive, slightly dented (but why the heck is the song "From Heads Unworthy" showing up as "From Heads University"?
)
ALL OF THE ABOVE: Get eaten by couch.
NONE OF THE ABOVE: Are truly "safe".
