Clefairy!

The pokémon is the namesake of a dance that heals your pokémon... in only one house, where a man asks you if you want to do it.

Super Smash Bros / Re: Adventure Mode: What could improve it
« on: December 17, 2010, 02:37:29 AM »
continued:

Meanwhile, in Green Greens, Kirby was about to eat his cake. It was stolen by the Squeak Squad, requiring the player to go through a level designed just like the original Green Greens from Kirby's Adventure. Beating the level results in a boss fight with the Squeak Squad. After their defeat, Kirby gobbles his cake. He then spots Dyna Blade fighting a Dragon Chimera (I'm making up Chimeras, but SSB is non-canon anyways, so watever). They then fly to City Trial. Kirby then chases after them. Mario and gang then leave the Star Carnival and head to Blooper Bay. There, they meet the evacuated people from Outset. They see Giygas's lair in the distance. An enraged Gooper Blooper pops out of the sea. This results in yet another boss fight. The then defeated blooper, with its last breath, flung the heroes (Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Layton, Luke, and Toon Link) away. They weren't flung far, however. They were flung into the ocean, when suddenly, K. Rool's ship appeared and took them in. Rool apparently was against Giygas, so he needed help. He sailed them to Hyrule's coast. Meanwhile, Kirby was at City Trial when both Dyna andthe Chimera spotted him. The Chimera flew towards Kirby, only for Dyna Blade to swoop in and take Kirby. The Chimera got injured after crashing, and exploded. Dyna Blade landed on the Halberd, so Meta Knight reveals he ALSO is agianst Giygas. The Halberd is above Death Mountain when the ship malfunctions from a Ditto who was hiding in the engine. The Halberd explodes just as the gang flies off. King K. Rool and his "shipmates" spot the explosion and go there. Also, the Ditto us Star KOd.

Now can someone else add more to it? I'm too lazy...

Maybe you should make your own thread! Sounds like a very interesting story that deserves a thread of its own.

Why does he have to WALK everywhere? (or bike)

Wait, I'm not sure if that was a rhetorical question or not. Please repeat.

Is this even supposed to be a rhetorical question?!

Definitely Mario, probably Pikachu, Link, and Kirby. Mario and Pikachu are definitely hugely popular, and I picked Link and Kirby as also super-important. They're both long runners and very well known.

Nintendo Gaming / Re: First Nintendo Game?
« on: December 12, 2010, 05:40:18 AM »
It could've been three different games, and I'm not sure which to call the first.

Super Smash Bros., I think, at a random party? I was six years old or so and I just mashed random buttons, and got angry when I lost (almost always).

Or Pokémon Gold, which my sister and her friend would play and I'd watch. But I never played so maybe that doesn't count.

The first Nintendo game I played was prooobably Pokémon Sapphire. I can't remember that clearly, though.

Pokémon's "main series" games are all on handhelds, but the more adventure-type ones like Colosseum and XD are on Gamecube. We need one 'o those on the DS! Or 3DS!

pikachu
this is my favorite pokemon.

Did you even read the rules?

Quote
1.) No questions involving opinion.
2.) If you answer a question, you must ask a question, and vice versa.
3.) Questions can only be answered once, even if the first answer was incorrect. The only person who can correct the answer is the person who asked the question. An asker correcting an incorrect answer is the only exception to Rule 2.
4.) Questions have to involve cannon Pokémon series, (games, anime, etc)
e.g. no questions about internet jokes.

I don't like rule 3 either, let's do some nonviolent protest!!

Also, this pokémon could've been the pokémon Ash received at the start of the anime; it was planned originally to be the mascot.

is having 2005-06 and 09-10 Nintendo Power magazines and having a lot of Pokemon cards and getting Kirby's epic yarn and Donkey Kong country returns for Christmas and having a super Nintendo with Mario all stars and still play it and beat super mario bros (both reg and star) and bros two and having a mario game for every system i have a Nintendo nerd?

not unless you also dress as a Nintendo Character for Halloween (if applicable), have debates with people of which it is usually nintendo vs. other companies on some topic, and have posters on in a room that are Nintendo related.

 :P

I was Ash Ketchum (actually a photographer disguised as Ash Ketchum) one year... and I was debating with someone about Nintendo and Xboxes...

Pokémon / Re: New Type Ideas
« on: December 09, 2010, 12:03:50 PM »
Sound seems like it would work the best out of the other proposed types, since Egg is... an egg and sharp is a physical quality that doesn't really fit in with the other types. Also, Light could work, since after all we have a Dark type...

Sorry, I didn't understand, as I'm not from Britain. Here in the States we use dollars: $

Why can't we have an "Amero" like they proposed?

Pokémon / Re: red vs ash who would win
« on: December 08, 2010, 01:56:58 AM »
It's pretty confusing, but the first two were Red and Green. So the first default name for him in Red was "Green", and in Green it was "Red". Afterwards, Blue was released with updated graphics, and his default names included both "Red" and "Green". But Green wasn't released worldwide; instead, only Red and Blue.

So in the worldwide release, in Red his names included "Blue" and in Blue his names included "Red". In Yellow it's "Blue" in both Japanese and English. But in Fire Red "Green" was included again.

In Japan's Pokémon Special, he's still "Green" and "Green" the girl is still "Blue", but everywhere else, he is "Blue" and the girl is "Green".

In all games, though, he's Oak's grandson, so his last name is Oak, or Oukido.

XD or Colloseum 3D
Pokemon 3D : Gale of darkness, Lady at reception counter gives out Bonsly,

Pokemon Colloseum 3D : Past and Present, allows time travel through certain points in the game, by using Islex Forest Shrine after Purifying all Shadow Pokemon, to capture Pokemon used by Cipher one year in the Past, where player meets XD character's Father, and 3-4 years in the Future, where Player obtains Aura Reader, Character and Rui both confused why the guy says they've met before.

Over 10 new Shadow Pokemon including Zoroark, Purugly, Stunky, Giratina, and XD442 Spiritomb,

XD002 Giratina Shadow Form anyone?
...Creepy. :-X
Wait, is this Colosseum 3D a fan game idea? Sounds pretty interesting but this is about XD or the real Colosseum... anyway, what's your opinion?

xd had a playable character from gen 4 (bonsly) and more shadow pokemon, a purifing minigame, and a better way of catching shadow pokemon that never got captured.

I don't see how Bonsly really affects the quality that much. More shadow is definitely a plus, though!

The purifying chamber wasn't much of a minigame... but it was still creative. And I haven't gotten that far, so how do you catch uncaught shadow pokémon?!

Pokémon / Re: red vs ash who would win

Red would win either way, because he beacame the Pokemon League Champion before he went to Johto, and Evolved all his starters, in Gen II, and has the highest level Pokemon of all trainers in every Generation he's been in, (Remember, even when he's playable, even a few non-experienced players have at least three Pokemon more Powerful than Green Oak's before they face him the first time.

Who is green oak?

The rival of Red in the games. Basically, Red inspired Ash the same way Green inspired Gary... sorta.

I have a Lucario, Kirby, and Pikachu plushy. I used to have a Treecko plush, but I lost it... I have a Brawl poster on my wall and a Pokémon poster under my mattress. I have a Lugia (SS), Staravia, and Cherrim figurines,  plus a top of a mini candy jar that has a Mario figurine on it. I also had a Mario Kart Wii backpack in 5th grade. Am I a Nintendo nerd?

I think that's more like Pokémon nerd with some Mario mixed in... ehh that'd pass for Nintendo!

Isn't .com specifically for commercial purposes or something like that?
