I've spent a good while browsing this wiki, and I really like it. Some of the writing is written in a very personal-opinions kind of way, but every wiki has its flaws. This would also be the closest thing to an Inazuma Eleven Wiki within NIWA besides N-Wiki, so I'd love for us to get in contact. Full support from me.

another problem is that those who were dedicated to NintendoWiki kinda vanished.
Yeah, things got busy on my end. Moving house, getting ill, making Let's Plays, and most of my time on wikis has been dedicated to Robot Wars Wiki. I might suddenly explode one day and make some articles, but no promises.

Can't fathom why the Wii U GamePad is in the same category as the Guitar Hero drums, and why the Wavebird is in a separate section to the GameCube controller, but I voted for the category with Wii U GamePad in it.

1) Mario Tennis: Power Tour
2) Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky [, Time and Darkness]
3) Super Smash Bros. Brawl
4) Super Mario Sunshine
5) Inazuma Eleven 2: Blizzard [and Firestorm]
6) The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Haven't chosen which games fill 7-10.

Quite a variety:
*Super Mario 64 DS
*Super Mario Sunshine
*Super Mario Galaxy 2
*New Super Mario Bros. 2 (working towards 1,000,000 coins)
*New Super Mario Bros. U
*Mario Kart: Super Circuit (as an LP)
*Pokémon Platinum Version
*Pokémon White Version 2
*The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
*The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
*Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Subspace Emissary)
*Puddle
*10 Second Run

Yeah, I don't know how I'm keeping up with them all either. Granted, some of these playthroughs have gone over the space of many months. For example, I restarted Pokémon Platinum Version in July, intending to complete it before buying Pokémon White Version 2. That didn't work.

RE: I'm sorry but I don't actually see a connection with Nintendo. Unlike Dragon Wiki, where some games where published by Nintendo, this really has nothing to do with them. Like someone already suggested, another type of affiliation could happen, but becoming a full member defies the scope of NIWA being dedicated to Nintendo.
No worries, I don't think becoming a full member was ever being proposed in the first place, I'm sure the wiki would only want a simple affiliation, considering they are not a Nintendo franchise by any stretch of the word.

Crud crud! Sorry for my lateness and lack of work here recently, but family, work and such have kept me quite busy so I can only devote myself to one wiki at a time! The Forgotten Beast reporting in on behalf of Starfy Wiki and Kid Icarus. Starfy Wiki is pretty solid on info although our user traffic is not very high and we keep getting a high degree of spam accounts...  Kid Icarus Wiki is doing very well but it is also falling victim to many spam accounts, so I ask is there a way to increase our security?

Indeed, something called Assira has been discussed above, and also on Skyworld.

How do we go about installing it?

In short, only Maxite has the access to do it, it's in his hands only.

NIWA Discussion / Re: Capcom Independent Wiki Alliance

This place is interesting: http://wiki.shoryuken.com/Main_Page

It may not strictly be Capcom, but they do have this on the main page: "The Shoryuken.com Wiki is intended to be a repository for all fighting game strategy knowledge. While our roots are in the Capcom franchises, we invite fans of all fighting game series to augment the site with their strategies and techniques."

So this is still theoretically possible, although Okami World Wiki blows. That abysmal wreck would need a lot of work before becoming part of an IWA.

Indeed, I wouldn't object to an affiliation.

NIWA Discussion / Re: Members' Status

Icaruspedia is reasonably active, there are some days where we will have 10 edits, some days where we only have one. In terms of things to do, there's a handful of extensions that need installing which have not yet been installed, but only one user is able to do that, and we have a lot of weapon and AR card articles still to make.

We do have spam accounts registering, though at a much lower rate than what it used to be, and the wiki gives clear instructions on how to hide the spam. Still, this Assira may be worth installing.

For active users, we have one user, who is also a patroller, IceBlue, who edits almost daily, four members of staff that check the wiki daily, who also edit, and we've got about four standard users who make edits at random.

All in all, we aren't going to drop into inactivity any time soon, though our current activity may not last forever.

Being Lylat Wiki staff, I can also comment on the activity of that: Yeah. Not too smashing. 0 edits per day, 0 active users, primarily because it does not exist at the current time. We've even had our domain snatched. But I do believe that Tacopill is making progress on getting it back up, albeit with a new .info URL.

I don't see much difference.  They both link to each other, and people are just as likely to have an account if they click that link as not.

That's why the "please log in" can link to Special:UserLogin, and "make an account" can link to Special:CreateAccount.

NIWA Discussion / MediaWiki:Anonnotice
October 06, 2012, 04:45:14 PM
What I've noticed across wikis is that the MediaWiki:Anonnotices that state something along the lines of "Please log in / create an account!" only link to Special:UserLogin. Surely the "create account" should link to Special:CreateAccount? I've already changed this on Icaruspedia, I suggest all other wikis do the same.

On handheld, Pokémon Platinum Version and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX. On console, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and, as always, Super Smash Bros. Brawl. For LP purposes, I'm also playing through Mario Tennis: Power Tour. If you want to see it, Episode 1 can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CtmZGLZW18

I'm ToastUltimatum, I administrate on Icaruspedia, F-Zero Wiki and Lylat Wiki, but my primary NIWA wiki (I say NIWA, because it's joint with Robot Wars Wikia) is SmashWiki. I'm a rollbacker there, but I do have an open RfA, so let's see how that goes :)
