There are several solutions as to what's going on, here. Numerous staff have reported receiving the email. I received it myself. At first, we thought it was someone trying to get into our accounts, but this is interesting to discover that even regular users are getting it. Anyone else who received it, please say so. It would be nice to get an idea of how many people got it.

MW is down...again.

Something wrong with the server. No one can connect, and Dathen and I can't even get FTP connections through.

That would be complicated, but I could look into it. It may take awhile, though.

Looks like Nate renewed the domain. Metroid Wiki is back online!

Metroid Wiki's domain just expired on the 27th, and the site was kicked offline as a result. Until Nathan renews the domain, it will not be available.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Hopefully, it will be back within a week.

WOW. Given the heavy popularity of this thread, I've stickied it.

I would probably head off to Siberia and plot your downfall.

Where's the beef?

I still have the original Perfect Dark for the N64. GREAT game, and the combat sim was such an awesome way to waste a day :P

Hey, guys, hate to butt in, but I'd just like to remind you that if a site openly features "adult" sections or pornographic material, you shouldn't link to them. This is a child friendly place, and we can't be linking kids to stuff like that.

Just keep that in mind when linking around.

I was just about to say that. Please please PLEASE try to keep on topic.

Also, the off-topic posts have been split into their own topic.

Haha, I was about to lock this myself. Thanks, Tina.

There is no imbalance of "secrecy" - we discuss normal staff things in our private staff boards. I've been on many website staffs, and this one is actually much more open than most.

Glad I'm not the only one who felt that was the case.

What are you guys even talking about? Does SEIWA even exist? Does anything else even exist? Is NIWA finished? Are you finished? What else do you have to deal with? Start thinking, guys, rather than just talking about stuff that sounds cool.

These other "IWA" organizations needs to come up on their own. We cannot make them. We SHOULDN'T make them. NIWA worked because of why we made it, and we did not make it for no reason. So far, I see no reason why any other IWA should exist if the Wikis who would join it don't seem to want it enough to do it themselves.

This post did not need reporting. Whoever reported it probably misunderstood his intention. I think he's saying focus on NIWA and don't worry about branching out and making other organizations.

Please watch your language.

And to whoever reported this, we don't have rules against reviving old threads. Thanks for trying to help, though.

I ate him. Sorry.

Why is my house glowing red?

Now, I believe we agreed that the winner would get admin rights, no?

By the way, guys, the poll stays open for seven days. That's one full week to get everyone to vote.

I think the three nominated persons are more than mature enough to handle being outvoted.

I was going to say that.

In any case, I'm attaching a poll with 3 options: Ax, Xizor, and Tucayo.

Make your vote and we can get on with it :P
