Now this is the Zaniness games have been missing.

Zaniness is awesome! I started reworking the article for the game to have a themed wording style.
Kirby's Epic Yarn (http://wikirby.info/wiki/Kirby%27s_Epic_Yarn) Read it or knot!

Kirby's Epic Yarn looks AWESOME and so freaking cute. XD This is on my to-buy list, along with Donkey Kong Country Returns. Seriously, from the trailer, it looks fun and addictive. Last game I bought was Crystal Shards (great game), although I did play Canvas Curse for a bit. No way I'm not buying this. ;D

Did anyone else notice Kirby didn't inhale once? seems suspicious to me...

maybe Kirby's above the influence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Above_the_Influence)?

It's somewhat hard to inhale when you are made of thread...

he didn't inhale enemies in Canvas Curse either
-
He cannot inhale or jump.

This game looks awesome and I will be buying this for my little brother if nothing else. He loves Kirby.

it looks awesome, but you aren't going picking it up for yourself? or for both of you?

Both of us, I guess.

Awesome! WiKirby will probably need a lot of help upon the release. Man I'm actually excited for this, it's the first console Kirby game in forever and a half. After creating WiKirby, I justified the expense to people by saying "There will be another Kirby console title soon." but I didn't expect it within the same year. I secretly hoped we'd have more time to get prepared for such a large release and better known. But these are the cards we were dealt. Let's play them out!

Any fancy pre-order stuff?

Any fancy pre-order stuff?
not as far as I know, but Donkey Kong Country Returns has one
-
I haven't heard anything either, but jezuz! Nintendo never released this much art for a game! Every week I'm getting more patches from them and I missed out on some before.
-
There is like 46 (hopefully more when the game is released) or something. The gallery at Kirby Wikia is all screwed up becuse of it. X_X
-
I got the game, and it's fun. I don't really like the parts where you have to transform though. Especially the train parts.
-
He cannot inhale or jump.
Well, little correction... He can jump, he can slow his falls (though he turns into a parachute instead of puffing up)... he just can't inhale enemies, puff out air as an attack, or puff up to jump multiple times in mid-air (since he's thread).
Instead he uses his thread abilities to destroy enemies in a much simpler more plain way than before (though, transformations make up for that). The one real biggest difference (besides being able to slam down without turning into rock kirby, which reminds me more of SSB than old Kirby games) is IMHO it's much, much, much harder to even get injured and die in the game..... really, does this game actually let the enemies kill you? I sure never got damaged besides perhaps in a boss battle...

What I meant to say was float lol. X_x

Nope, killing is not done, almost everything in the game is different. I guess that's whats done if an original game were converted to Kirby: A game using Kirby characters and locations but not many abilities.

While i was playing Epic Yarn and I was editing Kirby's Pad, My cat (who is very stupid) was trying to jump at the TV and try to grab kirby. (cause kirby was like a string)

:'( .... could it be that the cat doesn't understand the concept of an image, and not that it's stupid?
-
Maybe your cat is trying to play with you :'(

He is stupid alright he lays anywhere on the floor and doesn't feel pain when hit
-
Ya! My cat does that too! And when we step on her, she makes our feet bleed! Cats are not stupid.

let get back on topic now

Anyways, I got KEY for christmas - I'm finally going to start playing it tomorrow/later today...I hope...
-
I found hidden images in levels with the Digger, I need to get a screenshot or something bc they are cool. It has like some cave drawings of like Kirby dreaming about a steak meal among several others
-
i like how the star shooter is in it just as in Super star
-
I finally started KEY and it's...meh...I guess it's OK
It could be better, the storyline is week, the two-player format sucks a lot, but it's a fun game overall.

Have you played any other Kirby games? None of them have a good storyline.

I'm not sure any of them have a story to begin with.

only games i've seen of kirby have a store line is 64, epic yarn, squeak squad. Not much to it though
But i really dont care for the storyline kirby is a awesome puffball

Play Fire Emblem or Zelda for story, as those are story-heavy games. Kirby is action.

agreed.

>_>
1. Stop the metaquotebox; my typo (week) is bolded and being constantly repeated is attacking my brain.
2. I meant the storyline is weak, not that it doesn't have enough storyline. I'm fine with a game where there's absolutely no cutscenes, I just don't like it when games attempt at a storyline and fail miserably.

Yeah. That makes sense.

I don't like the name. The word epic is overused
