Fire Emblem Wiki says "hi."

Sadly, between the spam accounts and the zero interest of people to help, we are pretty much paralysed - only three active members. There is even a brand new game, coming here next year, and yet...

Fire Emblem / Re: The obscurity of Fire Emblem

Hello there, Naesala!

Well... in my country (Chile) it's pretty much an odyssey to get one. The clerks don't understand the name, nobody has ever heard of it, special orders can take even four months, or even worse, they laugh at me for buying original stuff >:(

At this point, I'm used to write down the name and wait for the avalanche of questions.  ::)

But well, I've played all international releases and then some more, like Fuuin no Tsurugi and the Jugdral games.

NIWA Discussion / Re: Fire Emblem Wiki!

Editor in Chief reporting!

We have made a formal request for reviewing in this thread.

The administrators and the members of the Fire Emblem Wiki are serious about this project. We are open to all suggestions; we want to make of this the best independent wiki for the series we all love so much.

As my comrades-in-arms said before, we welcome everyone there, whether they are just beginners or have been playing the games for years. Even if you just have played Super Smash Bros. Melee or Brawl - info on those games is also needed.

Just don't ask if both Marth and Roy appear in the same game, because that joke got old a long time ago ;)

Dear staff of NIWA,

as the Editor-in-Chief of the Fire Emblem Wiki, and so, the representative of its members, I want to ask for a formal review of the wiki.

We would like an objective opinion on how our project has fared until now, the possible weak spots that it may have, and if joining at this point is feasible.

For any question, my contact e-mail is in my profile, or you can find me in Skype as "aria der donau"

Thanks in advance,
Aria

The Fire Emblem Wiki was attacked last week. I'm pretty sure all new accounts are from spammers.

The pattern they followed was:
1. New account
2. New page (usually a long title with a number on the end. E.g., "How have I managed to keep away from listservs In a word Twitter 68")
3. New image

And that was all. Quite annoying.

Understood, sir!

Rune Factory 3, Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Noob question perhaps, but... is it too difficult?

The design is very nice, and the affiliates page is A LOT better (now we can be easily found ;))

But the best new characteristic is the random article - for those of us who aren't familiar with all wikis in NIWA, it serves as a first approach.

Hello, everyone. I'm Aria, the current Editor-in-Chief of Fire Emblem Wiki. It's a pleasure to meet all of you, and thanks for caring about us.

Although the wiki is still small, recently we have received the help from experts in templates who come from NIWA wikis, and I would like to thank them for their time. Moreover, they are teaching us, so that we don't have to depend on them all the time.

Sadly, as BrandedOne and Yusei have already stated, there are few active editors. If anyone of you loves Fire Emblem, you are more than welcomed to join us and help, however small or big your contributions may be. We might be few, but we are open to everyone!

If you have any suggestions or questions, I will be here (and there too, of course) to listen to each one of them.
