How many games have you broken/lost?

I've got a list:

I left my Pokémon Platinum, Personal Trainer: Cooking and Pokémon LeafGreen in the washing machine
I set a VCR on my SSBB disk on accident (I spell disk differently than most other people)
I lost my Sapphire somewhere, think it fell out of my backpack
I stepped on SMG
I left DK64 in the rain and it almost started my shed on fire
I got angry at Electroplankton so I threw it in the trash (really dumb idea).
I set a rock on Pokémon Ranger by accident

So, yeah.
I blame the economy.

1. How...
2. How could you!?

I haven't lost or broken any of my games I make sure to put them away after I use them

Kind of depressing... :(

As for me:
- A Pokémon Ruby version in a hotel (my sister's)
- One, possibly two Pokémon Emeralds on an airplane
- A Leaf Green version somewhere
- A Fire Red version at least five years ago.. and found it a few weeks ago!! =D
- A Donkey Kong game for GBA that a kid left at our house. Not sure what it was, but it had Diddy in it.
- Piglet's Big Game, a surprisingly fun game for GBA. I was very sad, especially because I found it and lost it again...
- A Super Smash Bros. Brawl CD that I suspect my sister may have given away... (along with a black Wii remote)
- A Pokémon Gold version AND the GBC it was in!! Really tragic...

Every time I lose something it's really depressing. By now one of my catchphrases is "PHEW! I thought I'd LOST it!"

I had lost the GBA port of Donkey Kong Country 2 for the longest time. Status: FOUND.

Kirby Super Star Ultra? Lost a few times. Current status: FOUND.

Super Mario 64 DS: LOST. Don't even know.

Also, the couch loves eating my games and systems. Speaking of which, is there a "Systems you've broken/lost" thread you know of?

* Lost Bomberman 64 to a Gameshark corruption
* Lost my first GBC and Pokemon Gold at school.
* Stepped on Super Mario Land for the Original GB

Check out this thread, although, it's only Handhelds and only how do you "handle" it.

I'm actually pretty nice to my games, although I've known that I've mysteriously lost some... I find them months later, though, like Pokemon Sapphire. lol

Actually, I think the only ways I've screwed up my games is internally:
My Pokemon Gold's internal battery has run out (no big surprise there, perfectly aware that it's normal)
One of my OoT carts has funny feeling controls, not sure how to describe it... messing with a Gameshark too much or something.
Pokemon FireRed's been screwed over by hacking the crap out of it :P I could restart and it'd be normal, but I don't really care that much
I think I messed up my Mother 2 (on M1+2) file a bit by doing the exit mouse glitch, now the game thinks I'm in the prayer cutscenes while walking around. Again, I could start a new file and it'd be fine.

I get the feeling I've messed with another game, though...

Someone took my GBC and Pokémon Gold while I was in sport class back in 7th grade or so.
I can't remember who I lend Mario Party 8 to, not much of a loss but still...

Yep, I used to take it everyday to do Mystery Gift with my other 3 friends and one day I left it in my gym class bag. I remember that what I lamented more was losing my Mew.

The only notable game that I've lost (that is still lost) is my Pokemon Yellow game. For 8 years my Pokemon Gold and Crystal games were also lost, but I found them six months ago.

Solar Dragon

So, Pokemon Pearl - Lost at school somewhere
Pokemon Ruby - Casing split and it wouldn't save for some reason
Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Wii messed up and wouldn't let it go. Once I got the game out, it was scratched beyond working
Mario Kart Wii - Same thing, except it didn't get it as badly. This was after we thought we fixed it.

Zesty Cactus

Some kid stole my DS Lite and KSSU and Pokémon Diamond in 8th grade.

Asswipe, I was without a DS until this June.

Nintendoguy1

Um...er..

-I lost 90% of my GBA games
-I left my brother's GBA in Florida.
-My Pkmn Emerald was in it (however I got a new Emerald for Christmas this year :3)
-Dropped my DS Lite and it broke (however I got a new one for Christmas this year :3)
-Accidentally glitched up my brother's DS and killed its bottom screen.

(see that's why Edofenrir is awesome)

If you know who stole it, you can file a police complaint against them, and/or take them to court. Small claims would probably do it, so there'd be minimal costs that way.
