Just pre-ordered mine fro amazon, glad it under $300.
I still find it too expensive and refuse to give Nintendo any money.
It normally cost for that 300 to 400 but nintendo made it 24999
What?
I'm not sure, honestly. There's a couple of games that I'm looking forward to (Layton, Animal Crossing, Zelda), and it's impressed me so far. But the thing that's holding me back is not the price, but the region locking.
...I think I'll wait until the region locking is broken. I really like imports, but I'm not sure if I would be willing to get a Japanese 3DS and import every single game I wanted.
$249.99 isn't too horrible considering that it's pretty much the lovechild of a DS, a Wii, and 3D..
I'll be waiting until there are *three* games that I really want for the thing. Then I'll grab the console and those three games.

It's still to expensive for a goddamned handheld console.

How much should it be? I think $250 if fine.

$250 is pretty cheap for a handheld console just coming to market.

So, what does everyone think about the one universal FC?
Better than having one for EVERY DAMN GAME, but not as good as a username...

It's a step in the right direction.
I'm starting to doubt the presence of GBA VC games. Nothing has said anything about it.

Was anything ever said about it?
Nope.
Nintendo has only said GB/GBC/Classic Games.
Just because it wasn't brought up now, doesn't mean it won't be in the near future. However, unlike GB/GBC games, i have a feeling GBA is still doing strong in the secondary games markets (like, used Gaming stores, Ebay, etc.).
Also, universal Friend Code's rock!
Still not as good as a username...

i seriously doubt Nintendo will do full usernames in the future. It would provide a chance for Vanity- / or Swear-Based names.
