Anyway, when the Gen V games are released, which are you more willing to get?

I'll probably get whichever has the cooler mascot, and then get the third version after it comes out.

I'll get both at some point, but I'll get Black first, I always got the second game first, so this time I'll get the first one

So far, I'm going to say White. I just don't like the look of Reshiram.
I'm still going to wait and see the version-specific Pokémon before my final decision.

Now that we have a pair of version-exclusives, I will still say White for now. Rankurusu looks alot better than Gochiruzeru, to my tastes.

Rankurusu looks like a green fetus, which I don't like.
I think Black has the better legendary though.

I want Reshiram, but the I HATE the Black exclusive, and really want Rankurusu. (Please don't point out that sounded racist)

And I'm leaning towards White ONLY because of the available Pokemon: Slakoth (evolves into Vigoroth, my favorite Pokemon) will be exclusive to White, and so will cooler legendaries.

Anyway, I'm probably the same as most people; whichever has the better exclusives. Chances are I'll get the other later on though.

Possibly Black, but the exclusives do factor in my choice.

I'm aiming for White. The only things that Black has going for me are common red-striped Basurao and the pure flying type. While White has Rankurusu, Wargle, and Zekrom. Oh, and Iris as gym leader, which for some reason appeals to me better than a spartan mayor...

I did order White, but then I Epic Failed and accidentally gave an address my friend used to live at. Which is now a hair salon. In Alaska.
I've decided to wait until it gets translated before trying to buy it again. Or, if they take too long for that, I can pick it up when I go to Tokyo next summer.

I've decided to wait until it gets translated before trying to buy it again. Or, if they take too long for that, I can pick it up when I go to Tokyo next summer.
Trust me, Nintendo won't take THAT long. It will be released in America and Europe in Spring.
As to which version I'm getting, I say white. Voltolos looks way cooler than Tornelos. Same with Zekrom. He looks way better than Reshiram.

White, I like the eagle, the condor not so much. Other than that, meh.

My Friend is getting Black, because it has a Dark City where she can battle Trainers, and she loves Fire Pokemon, like Reshiram. I guess I'll get white, because I do like Electric Types, (thogh they're not my favorite) and I'd like to see the difference between the versions, and trade the version exclusives.

I'm getting both. That's been a tradition of mine to get both versions of the new generation since Red and Blue.

I have changed my mind.. I'm getting White because I think the Mascot is cooler and It's electric type. I like electric types.

Later on (read - my birthday in June) I'll get Black for the cool goth lolita Pokémon.

I went to the mall tour they had and I played Black and White.
I loved it. The seasons are a really nice addition.

I will get white since the version exclusives are better. Also white forest let you catch more pokemon from the older games.

after careful planning throughout my circle of friends (gotta make sure we all have opposite versions lol) i ended up with Black (which really was my first choice anyways due to Gochiruzeru or whatever her name is now). and yeah I preordered it at EB Games so it's already been paid for 8D!

I'm getting Black. I was thinking about getting White since it has the White Forest that has exclusive Pokemon, but I realized that I have already caught most of them in HeartGold. Also, all my friends are getting White, and it's nice to have the version opposite your friends'.
I also like Black's generally more technology-oriented theming.

I changed my mind at the last minute and got White. I just like the olden feel and the Western style of the Pokémon better than the technologically advanced feel and East West style Pokémon in Black.

I purchased Black from Japan, so I'll be getting White from the English release.

I hate that Goth Pokemon due to the fact it wiped my team out in the Elite Four first time around! Now, whenever I find one or it's preevolutions, I stick my middle finger up at it and kill it with the most powerful attack I have on the Pokemon.
