I'm not leaving now, but will start my "vacation" in about five weeks. (According to my mom.)

As a final contribution before I leave, I would like to tell you guys about an independent video game wiki network that I found. Some of you may have already found it, but here it is just in case: Wikitoria (http://www.wikitoria-network.com/). It has a Soul Calibur Wiki, a Tekken Wiki, and a meta-wiki hosted by the alliance. It centers around fighting games, so maybe Smash Wiki could join. I was waiting to announce my discovery until after they finished the work on their homepage, but NIWA is entering a transitional period that I'd rather observe than take part in. I do plan to return after everything has settled down.
On a side note, I am working on a top secret project that I think will help NIWA. If things go as planned, expect an announcement in late February or early March.

I'll be upfront: I am losing interest in NIWA again. Editing Zelda Wiki, WiKirby, and a little of Wars Wiki was fun, but now I don't see why I should do it anymore. The friends I met I will continue to keep-in-touch with, but I can't make myself do this anymore.
I originally started out of fascination, and to get a hobby... but now I'm sick of it. Perhaps it's the continuous task of writing, which I never liked, unless it was about something like sparked interest. Even now, that interest is fading.
Another reason which may be causing this is that I'm turning 18, and so don't want to waste time until I get school over with, college started, a job started, etc.
I don't want the replies to be cry-cry, sad-sad -posts, since I dislike the attention... but I also don't want to just vanish off the face of the internet.

I'm returning, but not to wiki editing as you may know it. (I think that's return number 3 or 4)
I am close to graduating high school, and therefore no longer under the obvious stress. I care enough about the NIWA to want to help it, but no longer am interested in wiki editing. I will be using my time on the forums, instead. If anything, I'll just use the forums the way most staff did, or still do, as they did in the past: to monitor the NIWA. I'll be as helpful as I can on the forums, which includes answering questions related to wikis and NIWA. But once again, I will not actually do any editing.
I am sorry for not aiding in staff matters, but, (and I hope you don't think of this as a lousy excuse), I didn't feel I had the right to since I'm no longer staff.

Hi there, I haven't been here for a while. No, I'm still not coming back, since I would just abandon the NIWA again (and we all don't want that...(well, maybe some people.) I'm just here to see how things are going, since I've always been rooting for you guys to be successful even after I left. I'm sad to see that during my visit to WiKirby, I see that it's partially broken. Even so, Veli seems to be running it well. I secretly visited all the the NIWA wikis, including Zeldawiki where I secretly made a few edits a while ago since I couldn't remember my login details. I would be making this post under my original account, but I can't do anything with it, even edit my profile. But, it was a nice visit after two years or so. I will continue rooting for you from the sidelines.
