In this thread, introduce who you are. Information such as what wiki you're from, your interests, anything about you is appropriate. :)

Hello, I am Garlic Man, a veteran user from the Super Mario Wiki. I am also an administrator at Metroid Wiki, and am greatly involved in the creation/growth of NIWA. If I know you already, you know what I'm like, and if you don't, hopefully we'll get to know each other better as time goes! :)

I have been a long-time fan of Mario games, and own a whole bunch of games from those series.

When it comes to Zelda, my collection is rather meager, and I only have Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess. (I'm excited for the new Zelda game for Wii though)

When it comes to Pokemon, even less, as I only own Pokemon Stadium 0. :P

Hm I suppose a thread isn't bad.
Well I'm from Bulbapedia, 18 year's old, male, and a fan of Digimon...I mean Pokemon.
I have also started playing Mario games about a year before Pokemon came out iirc. The Super Mario Bros. is my all time favorite game :P
I have not played a Zelda game and don't look forward to play one any time soon.

:/ I guess that's all. I suck at intros.

I'm Aiko Heiwa better known as Ugozima. If you know me, I like Pokemon, anime, Kaabii, Metal Gear Solid, and spriting. If you don't know me, too bad. >:( I come from MarioWiki and Bulbapedia. O'er on MarioWiki I'm Ugozima and on Bulbapedia I'm Ugoz. I'm not really a huge fan of Mario anymore, the series just seems stale to me now, and I never really liked Zelda.

In short, I own a decent amount of Mario games (like 27), I've played every Pokemon game, and I owned like 3 Zelda games.

I also like kittens and pink. :3

I am and have always been a huge fan of the Zelda, Pokemon, and Mario games.
A total Nintenkid at heart.
I also love forums, but have a problem with staying active. x_x;

I'm Zesty Cactus, although that's usually shortened to ZC or Zesty. I came here from Bulbapedia, where I edit on a (fairly) regular basis. I'm 19 years old and I live in Toronto, Canada (eh!). I'm a lifelong fan of Pokémon, although I'm also quite a fan of the Zelda games, too. (I was mega-obsessed with Zelda for a while) ^^'

Aside from Nintendo stuff... I'm a music snob. I love listening to music and going to concerts and all that stuff and nonsense. I also love clothes and makeup? :P

Hey, I'm Muzy! I'm part of 2 other forums (SmashPower, a Nintendo forum, and TheSpeedGamers, a gaming forum). I'm familiar with the coding for SMF forums. I currently own a Wii and a PS3, and I used to own a GC, and a PS1. Nintendo is my favorite company. I love organizing events, and I'm an overall cheery (and psycho :P) person. I use Bulbapedia, Super Mario Wiki, and Zelda Wiki almost daily. I'm an LPer on YouTube, and my YT channel name is MuzyDude. My favorite LPers are Chuggaaconroy and SonikDude101.

My name is Nerdy Guy and I am from the Super Mario Wiki. Becoming a 3-year veteran in the summer. I'm currently retired wiki-wise. However, I'm an admin on the wiki's forum. Have 2950+ posts and am the 8 or top poster over there. I also go often to the wiki's IRC channel, #mariowiki (despite the name, it's basically a different country down there), and related channels. My computer broke somewhere around late-April last year and now I use a DSi. It has it's problems, but I get around. Though it kinda feels like I'm handicapped. :P

Not much else to say other then the general "I like Mario, Kirby, and Pokémon."

Hello, I am Tucayo from the Super :mario: Wiki.
I am 15 years old, I'm from Mexico.
I am a sysop in the MarioWiki, as well as sub-director and former director of our newspaper, The 'Shroom. My favorita gaming series is Mario, thats why I joined the MW :P My favorite character is Kooper, and I represent myself with him. I am a 2 year veteran, and a 1 1/2 year veteran writer of The 'Shroom.
I moderate this forums, as well as 2 boards in the MW forums. I am on on a daily basis unless something happens, I can be found usually on IRC (DarkMyst) on #niwa, #mwshroom, #mwikitalk and some other channels.

I've been involved on some level of LoZ.com for almost 7 years now, and I've been in a senior staff position for over three years. I have great expectations for NIWA. =]

Sup. The name's iDOWN (aka Tyler, but please call me iDOWN). I'm a frequent visiter of all three wiki sites. I'm 19 and I'm a Visual Arts major at Southeastern Louisiana University. Never was a member of any other forums affiliated with the three sites, if there were any, so I'm a new face. I also visit Lemmy's Land Forum and VGVirtuoso, and I'm a staff member in both, so maybe if anyone recognizes me, it's from there.

I'm Stooben Rooben, but almost nobody calls me that; I'm usually just called "Stooben", "Stoob", or something like that. I come from the Super Mario Wiki, where I'm considered "second-in-command" on the wiki and forum. I also take part in a lot of community projects. I've been a member there for over 2 years, and have no plans of retiring anytime soon.

I'm a 17-year-old dude who hails from the scenic city of Colorado Springs. I'm in my second year of college and am heading for a Bachelor's in game software design. I play guitar, sing, and write my own songs -- I hope to release an album sometime within the next two or three years. ...So yeah, I'm a huge nerd who likes music. :)

I'm a huge fan of most Mario games (though, some of the spin-offs are beyond lame), my favorite one being Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. I also like the Zelda series a lot; I'm more partial to the ones with Toon Link in them, but all the games are good. I have yet to play a Pokemon game, but I'd like to some day.

I will likely post a picture of myself when I won't care what anyone thinks of me. 8)

Hehe, I'm Patori, but I'm usually called Patt. I'm a frequent visitor to Bulbapedia and a user on Bmgf. I'm not usually online there (more on Serebii), but whatever. I'm a huge fan of that thar thing called Pocket Monsters. My first real game of Pokémon I've ever picked up was Sapphire, but I loved watching the anime when I was little. (Still do.)

I'm 15, female, and I live in California. I'm also quite a fan of Mario, and enjoyed games such as Galaxy, Sunshine, New Super Mario Bros., and others. Never been a fan of Zelda tbh. Not into it. :/

I'm also a fan of a variety of animés, manga, tv shows, and other interests, but that's all for now. Hope to meet new people here. :3

I'm kind of an almost 2-year veteran of the Super Mario Wiki. I signed up over there on March 8^th, 2008. But I didn't do much since I only edited on March 9^th, 2008. Then I stopped editing, for some reason, until April 2^nd, 2009 (yes, I stopped editing for over a year). And then I came back and made some edits around here and there.

I started really liking the wiki, so I became involved with it a bit more and also became involved with some sites that were considered the extended community of the site. I eventually got promoted to the ranking of Patroller, but resigned a few days later due to the fact that I felt that I was not fit for the position.

However, a couple of months later, I was repromoted. And I also help out with NIWA now.

In real life, I'm a 14 year old, and the youngest of the current MarioWiki staff.

Hello everybody there!! If you visit Bulbagarden oftenly, you may know me as Veggietable (not that I'm a personality there, but anyways that's where I came from). I'm from Mexico and I'm 23 years old. I'm a Pokémon, Zelda and Mario fan. I visit the wikis, but I only take part in BMG's forums because if you start me on Zelda, I lose control XD, so I prefer to only see what people think out there. But now that I'm here, I might start to discuss Zelda and Mario topics. Just give me a little time, my brain is a bit lazy to discuss on three topics at the same time.

My first video game was Super Mario Bros. for the good ol' NES when I was 3... that's quite a while ago. I still love Mario of course, but my favorite franchises are Zelda, Pokémon and Mega Man. Yeah, I'm a big N-fan, I've never owned a Sony or MS console. Though I love to play Genesis ROMs on the PC.

Oh and I'm a big eater, maybe that's all you need to know about me. So I hope I get alng with all of you, specially the ones from other wikis who I haven't met before.

I had/have an account from way back in '07 and went on the chats every once in a while but just stopped logging in and really didn't get a chance to edit much. I live in NYC, and I'll be 16 soon. I do follow both Mariowiki and Bulbapedia and I do prepare on making a "comeback" of sorts.

OK, I'm Nintendoguy1 (you can call me NG1) and I'm active on the mariowiki (well, every month except this one) and there I go by Marioguy1 (MG1). I used to be active on bulbapedia but I stopped, I was under the name Pokemonguy1 (PG1, notice a pattern here?) and I just joined the metroid wiki and zelda wikis under the names Metroidguy1 and Zeldaguy1 (ZG1) respectively (You have to see it now).

In other wikis, well, I'm the steward of userpedia and I edit (and have bureaucrat rank) on multiple wikias which I am relatively inactive on now and...that's all...wait...one more thing...

Greetings.

I am Hateichi Kage, as my name is romanized, but I find it acceptable to just be referred to as Kage.

I lived in Japan for much of my early life, specifically on the island of Hokkaido, though I spent a little time in Hiroshima. Most of my existence has however been spent in the United States, where I have become very much fluent in English... with my Japanese rather fading away... how sad. I am what you might refer to as a nerd... but given that I have publication deal being worked out with Viz Media right as I sit at my computer, typing this introduction, I would say I am allowed to be a nerd. ^_^

As one could probably ascertain by the prior, I am a rather artistic individual, and I spend almost 24 hours a day drawing (separated from my passion only by 7 hours of sleep every night). In addition, I also enjoy video-gaming, dedicating hours to the delights of Pokémon games, as well as the wonderful phenomena of Resistance and Bioshock for PS3. Of course, I also have quite the obsessive compulsive collection of retro video games, possessing such wondrous series as the full set of Final Fantasy, Digimon World, Soul Calibur, and countless others. Electronic wise, I am almost completely fluent in HTML and CSS, and I have a pretty decent background in C++. In fact, I am working right now on the construction of my own little Pokémon game just for myself. ^_^

I try to generally keep a very neutral demeanor when engaging with others, as I don't much enjoy fighting. But, since I am a very liberal individual when it comes to my beliefs, I do not fear an argument in defense of my personal philosophies; though I don't expect much of that here! Also, I feel as though there is a nice way to say nearly everything, so I will try not to be caught being rude or harsh to anyone, and I hope that I can expect most of the same from others.

Hm... what haven't I covered...? Oh yeah! I am 18 years old... as of last October the thirteenth (woot)... and I like to collect swords... in particular the japanese variations (Meheh I wonder why?). I am a rather average height of 5'8" and a rather ghastly weight of 113 lbs. Hm... I have black hair... and these trippy green eyes of which I am very proud. And... I am a perpetual child. Because I am soon to be a Manga-ka... I get to stay young at heart forever!! YAY!! Of course... it also has to do with the fact that I have a certain hormone disorder that has made me completely... um... mutually... separate... from the rest of the world... Meheh...

Ah well I am Prongs, I am a member of Bulbagarden, Bulbapedia and an admin at Onemanga(if that counts).
I am from India and am mainly a Pokémon and Mario fan although I do play Zelda.
That can be justified by the fact that I actually buy both the games in every Gen of Pokémon for the sake of getting both boxes. =p :mario:

Hello everyone, some of you might have seen my edits even though I never is on the forums. I go by the names of Pokémon Lover King Mario on Bulbapedia, KingMario on Mario Wiki and King Mario ZeldaWiki, the last of whom I've only made an edit or two. They're the only video game wikis that I was use so I thought it almost was funny when the three started to cooperate.

Anyways, I'm like-you-should-care years old, and lives in Varnhem, Västra Götaland County, Kingdom of Sweden. Which, BTW, is located in the Scandavian penninsula and not the Alps, like many thinks since they confuse it with Switzerland. And the capital of Sweden is Stockholm, not Copenhagen (Denmark), Oslo (Norway), Helsinki (Finland) or whatever you thought.

My interests is video games, Internet, cooking and school, the only things/place that I've played/used/done/been at willingly during the latest 10 years or so. And yes, I've got no life, no friends and is extremly outdated, all of which gives me mental breakdowns each day.

So, I'm an 11 year old girl. I live in Ohio and I homeschool. My favorite color is green and my favorite TV show is this show on Nickelodion called Penguins of Madagascar. In my free time, I like playing Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. I also like visiting the Super Mario Wiki Forum and Homestar Runner (http://www.homestarrunner.com/) (which is, by the way, a series of Flash cartoons that I highly enjoy, infact, the only reason that I didn't mark it as "favorite TV show" is because it's not a TV show.).

Out of the Mario series, I've played too many games for me to remember off the top of my head (almost all of them on the Wii and DS). Out of the Zelda series, I've played Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, Ocarina of Time (emulated), A Link to the Past (emulated) and Twilight Princess.

I also like randomly breaking out into song. :eekdance:

I'm Archaic, real name Liam Pomfret. I'm the webmaster of Bulbagarden.net and the Bulbapedia. I hope the others won't mind me saying that NIWA is my brainchild of sorts. I'm the one who proposed the idea to the other wikis, following an affiliation request from ZeldaWiki with Bulbapedia getting my brain working on the topic. I also own the niwanetwork domain name, and this site actually runs off the Bulbagarden servers.

Offline, I'm a 25 year old from Brisbane, Australia. I hold a Masters of International Business from Queensland University of Technology, and I'm currently completing a post-graduate thesis at the University of Queensland on user perceptions of privacy in online social networking sites, following which I'll be entering into a Ph.D program. I also teach tutorial classes for undergraduate units in Marketing, Management and International Business at that university. During my undergraduate, I spent a year studying at Meijo Daigaku in Nagoya, Japan. I'm not fluent in Japanese, but I understand more than enough to watch a Pokémon episode without subtitles, and I have on occasion provided translation or quality checking services to a number of fansub groups. I'm also studying Spanish, though progress there is a little slow of late.

I'm UltimateSephiroth, a 18-year-old (soon 19) upper secondary school student from Finland. I'm actively contributing in various sites on the Internet (at some point, I counted I had registration e-mails from nearly 200 sites in my primary hotmail account). What's worth mentioning is that I'm an an administrator on Bulbagarden's media repository, Bulbagarden Archives, and on the Finnish Game Maker forum (although I haven't been very active there lately). I'm also a moderator on the Shop Subcenter of Bulbagarden Forums.

I'm a long-time Pokémon player, as I started my video game journey with a teal Game Boy Color and a copy of Pokémon Red Version. As the time has passed, I've acquired at least one main series game from each generation (Red and Yellow from Gen I, Gold from Gen II, Sapphire, Colosseum and XD from Gen III, and Platinum from Gen IV).

I've also played The Legend of Zelda games, of which I've completed (story-wise) Ocarina of Time (the GC version on the Collector's Edition disc), The Minish Cap and Oracle of Ages (I don't own this, but I borrowed it). I've also played the original one, Zelda 2, Link's Awakening DX, Majora's Mask and The Wind Waker.

When it comes to Mario games, I've played Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, Mario Golf (still one of my favorites), Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Mario Kart DS. Of these I've completed story-wise SMB Deluxe, Mario Golf, PMTTYD and Kart DS, though I don't own a copy of TTYD. I played it all the way through on a few visits at my friend.

My school grades are generally quite good (I don't want to say top-notch, though many would say they are that, hehe), though they're started to go down a bit since I haven't had the mood to study so hard anymore :3 I can speak Finnish as my native language; other languages I know well are English (quite fluently, though some mistakes here and there, particularly with prepositions and such stuff), German and Swedish. I can also speak a little Estonian, and I know a few random words or phrases in French, Spanish and Japanese. I'd like to know Japanese better, so I've taught myself the hiragana and katakana symbols :)

I'm also a grammar nazi (with the exception of IM programs, IRC chats and other instant communication methods). I don't like when people write entirely in lowercase or type otherwise bad text. Even the absence of the accent in Pokémon distubs me, but I can live with it since I know it's harder to type the é character on a US layout keyboard; it's relatively easy on the Finnish layout. You can see from this post that I like to use parentheses a lot; that may seem to someone like I had problems with connecting sentences, and that might be the case. I'm not a native, after all :p

I'm a big Nintendo fan. Yeah, that's right. Also, I am an avid wiki editor. That's true as well, I suppose. I am not, however, a member in any of the founding NIWA wikis, or any other wiki that may follow suit... unless you find me a great Star Fox wiki I can edit, as apparently that Nintendo franchise I'm the most informative about. Too bad I tend to procrastinate a lot, so help me my articles never seem to completed by my own hands!

I may not be a member, but I follow the founding wikis a lot!

I've been a wiki editor at Wikipedia for about three and half years now! I've both edited and created many varieties of articles on both the English and the Arabic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabic_language) Wikipedias, although I'm more active on the Arabic one as this Wikipedia (http://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B5%D9%81%D8%AD%D8%A9_%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B1%D8%A6%D9%8A%D8%B3%D9%8A%D8%A9) is a major virgin territory for new articles, especially on Nintendo-based video games, and other related topics! I also have an account on Wikia which I use to work on various wikis across the place, mostly the Nintendo-based ones. Oh, and I am also the founder and sysop of the Arabic version of the Star Fox Wiki on Wikia (http://ar.starfox.wikia.com/wiki/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B5%D9%81%D8%AD%D8%A9_%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B1%D8%A6%D9%8A%D8%B3%D9%8A%D8%A9) (and pretty much the only member there by far, as it seems like I am the only Star Fox fan out there who fluently speaks the language)! I am also a member at a few certain other MediaWiki-based wikis, but I don't think you may care about those.

I came here from Bulbapedia, where I edit on a (fairly) regular basis. I'm from Pakistan and I am 18 years old.

There is a thing called CARTOON NETWORK (Pakistan) where we can watch POKéMON (kidding ;D).
You can call me NUMBER 1 PokéFan in Pakistan. You are right, its pretty uncommon here.
Anyway, I am a DIE HARD Paki Poké FAn since 2003 (before 2003, I wasn't interested in Pokémon). I usually watch Pokémon on TV Tokyo (LIVE/Latest epsiodes) + CN (Hindi + English eps) + Youtube (Same Japanese & English eps). :D (So, I'm totally UP TO DATE, LoL xD).

Hi, I'm Culex from the Super Mario Wiki, although I have accounts at the other two main wikis as well. I think NIWA is a brilliant concept - a way to unite Nintendo wikis under a common banner but allow them to keep their independent practices and philosophies. I am proud to support NIWA!!

Hello. I'm Pokenutter. I'm 16, and I'm from Bulbapedia/garden. I've been a fan of Pokemon since its American introduction. The first Pokemon game that I ever played was Pokemon Yellow. I have never personally owned a Pokemon game, since emulators are my platform. I only recently began carrying Pokemon around in my pocket when I got a handheld emulator back in mid-December.

I'm a big fan of Zelda, although this is a recent development. Until I was 13, I had been struggling with the Zelda games, unable to beat a single level. When I reached 13, I pulled out Link to the Past, and actually got somewhere. In a state of ecstasy, I gave OoT a try, and was hooked for ever. I do not have a Zeldawiki account (yet.)

I'm a minor fan of Mario. Most of the games are good timewasters, but the RPGs are very fun. I do not have a Mariowiki account. Yet.

I'm a fanfiction writer, and upload most of my stuff to deviantArt, but a lot ends up on the BMGF. I've gained slight infamy due to my inability to meet my own deadlines.

Hi, I'm Blazevoir from Bulbapedia (bet you haven't heard that before). Most of the things I've done there are minor grammatical or spelling changes. I really enjoy Pokémon and I've owned a copy of every game from each generation at least once (though not at the same time).

I haven't really played much of Zelda. I got Phantom Hourglass when it came out and then I figured I'd try Wind Waker.

I really like the Mario series. I have a couple Super Mario Bros. Virtual Console games on Wii and I played some of the GBA remakes. I liked Sunshine and Galaxy and I even found a copy of Super Mario 64 DS on a train. I really liked Luigi's Mansion and I hope they come out with a sequel or do one of those "New Play Control" things for it.

Glad to see that you joined. I'm more of a Zelda fan than a Mario fan [hence my signature]... but that may be because I played about 75+% of all the Zelda games. :P

Hey, I'm Rayne!! I am a total Nintendo fanatic in every way!! My favorite series are Zelda, Mario, Pokemon. I'm not a member of any of the wikis and I haven't ever edited any of the articles but I do intend to. I do use the wikis constantly for information though. I like to cram as much Nintendo related information into my mind as possible. I'm what you call an "info hoarder".
