Are these series related to each other? and if so how?
-
Other than the fact that they're console RPGs, they're not related in anyway.
-
So they just happen to have a similar name? I'm asking due to some people thing Pandora's Tower may or may not be tied to them.
-
Yep, not even by the same developer.

"The Xenosaga series serves as a spiritual successor to the game Xenogears, which was released in 1998 for the PlayStation by Square."
Anyway, are these games worth picking up? the only Playstation/PS2 games I have are Dragon Warrior/Quest VII and VIII.

Still developed by a different company.
And I wouldn't know, never played 'em. Also, THIS IS IN THE WRONG BOARD.

Meh, People need to leave "The Lounge" more often. Also since Nintendo owns Monolith Soft now you could say it's a Nintendo series now.
