Title: Dark Dawn

So it's been out for months now, and still no new posts? Has anyone else played it? I didn't like it as much as the first two. They added three points of no return, missable Djinns, the story was quite confusing. It just seem to jump around and not make any sense. Only a few of the old main characters showed up.

i have to agree with you that it wasn't the best but at least it was easy to know where to go. Halfway through the first two games you got lost.

Definitely not as good as the originals.  The game was too easy, especially the boss battles. I beat the game in less than 30 hours on my first playthrough, which I couldn't do with the originals no matter how many times I'd played them. I didn't like the points-of-no-return either.

The Points of no return were slightly depressing to me. I always like being able to randomly go back to a town and just check in on it, even if nothing has really changed, I just liked to waste time visiting.
