Also, it would help if you could tell us what browser and operating system you are using.

In order to get the full effect on most modern browsers, you'll want to replace that with: border-radius: 10px; -moz-border-radius: 10px; -webkit-border-radius: 10px; -khtml-border-radius: 10px; -icab-border-radius: 10px; -o-border-radius: 10px;

...Yeah, I reused a recent-ish one I posted somewhere else. It hasn't changed yet. Background.
Quote from: Maxite on January 25, 2011, 02:08:29 AMIt's an extension, Extension:RenameUser. It needs to be installed separately.Quote from: Nintendoguy1 on January 25, 2011, 01:55:16 AM
A function, Special:Renameuser - talk to your local bureaucrat (that's what it's usually set to IIRC)
Does that function have to be installed, or does it come with every MediaWiki installation by default? I can't seem to find that function.
Quote from: Tina on January 24, 2011, 12:54:47 AMSorry. I was under the impression that he believed the entire game to be completely fanon. An article on the translation would, of course, be completely appropriate on the fanon wiki. My mistake there.Quote from: Jake on January 24, 2011, 12:14:51 AM
Mother 3 isn't a fan game though. The site you reference is an optional fan translation.
Still a huge part of the fandom... and by a fan... :\
Quote from: Maxite on January 22, 2011, 09:47:06 PMThey'd be treated as regular affiliates. An alliance for forums is outside the scope of NIWA and would require an alliance of its own to be created.
I was just wondering how other independent non-wiki sites are handled (as well as wondering NIWA has considered expanding to include more formal affiliations with them).
Quote from: RamblinEvilMushroomDS on January 22, 2011, 02:34:22 AMWe have a few projects in the works, but we're always looking for suggestions. Did you have anything specific in mind?
(doesn't know if anyone's mentioned this)
NIWA needs to be more than just a forum.

Anyone have a list of all the wi-fi downloads?
Quote from: vince220 on January 11, 2011, 01:20:57 AMIn the case of wikis that have been accepted into NIWA, the topics are usually just polls with very little discussion. When a wiki comes along that is worth accepting, we're usually all in agreement. It's really not a worthwhile read, to be honest.
For example, seeing the process of a prospective wiki being elected into the alliance would make for an interesting read.
Quote from: Maxite on January 12, 2011, 06:52:35 AMSupport and publicity are often the most important things a wiki needs. I've run quite a few sites and forums before, but I can say that I enjoy running a wiki more than anything else. Speaking based on my own experience with NIWA, I can focus more on creating a great wiki than having to worry about advertising and finding users. Better yet, I know that there's always a group of helpful members here should I should ever need help with the software or hosting. Our wikis work with each other, borrowing great ideas and experimenting with new ones. I think this is the best part of our 'garden'; being able to help each other grow and prosper.
What benefits does a wiki get in joining NIWA? It gets a nominal amount of publicity, a bit of influence in what NIWA does, and potential resource for help/assistance are what I can figure out. Is that it, or is there more?
Quote from: Tina on December 31, 2010, 04:08:54 AMI use Cloud for OS X, which does the same thing as Tina described.Quote from: tacopill on December 31, 2010, 03:44:09 AMalso, where do people find all these sharing websites. Mediashare, imageshack, pastebin, puu.sh?
puu.sh is a screenshot program, actually. It allows one to just click and drag a portion of your screen to screenshot, and it automatically uploads it.
