Nintendo Gaming / Re: Professor Layton: True Nintendo IP... or NOT!?

I've always thought of Layton as Nintendo's. Even though it technically isn't, I would not object to a Layton wiki in NIWA...

Not really a revival, but I want another Endless Ocean... and a new F-Zero. I never had a chance to play those... and I have no money for the VC version...

NIWA Discussion / Re: Wikia makes another offer for Bulbapedia - Epic Fail

In my days in Wikia I was guilty for making a wikia and then forgetting about it. I would make.. i don't even remember now.

Same! I made a wiki for the Farmyard. I forgot after about 90 minutes. However, once I found http://egovernance.wikia.com/wiki/EGovernance_Solution_for_Urban_Local_Bodies that, it has one article, the main page, filled with all sorts of sexual spam.

NIWA Discussion / Collapsible templates

Firstly, I apologise if this is in the wrong place. Anyway, how do you make templates collapse? I have tried copying the js from the MarioWiki, but to no success.

I've visited Strategy Wiki once or twice and found it very useful.

NIWA Discussion / Re: Two questions?

Firstly, is there any wiki here that was interested in Monaco? I know it had faults, and it was a Wikia skin, but there were some good ideas in it (iconified tabs do make it easier to use, hover menu navigation, etc...). So, were there any wiki's here or anyone who missed Monaco when the wiki went independent?

One of the reasons we merged with ACWiki.me was because we hated the new skin. Monaco was awesome, hands down.

NIWA Discussion / Re: An independent Animal Crossing wiki has launched
« on: October 27, 2010, 03:46:58 PM »
Hi, I'm Dragonfree97 from animalcrossing.wikia.com - we've become fed up of wikia, and half of us have packed our bags and moved to ShoutWiki. We've not moved any of our 1,300 articles on the series, and a user called Adam posted on the talk page of a fellow administrator, a guy who goes by the name of C-Star55, about the Animal Crossing Wiki in affil. with NIWA. After a bit of research, I thought that that wiki could do with 1300 extra articles.

Just a few questions about it

1) Is it independent?
1a) If so, who's funding it?
2) Who are the active admins of it; and
3) do you want thirteen hundred articles?

The ACW has to agree on what we're gonna decide to do, though: three options. One, stay put on Wikia, two, move to ShoutWiki, or three, ask to join you guys on animalcrossingwiki.me. Again, after looking around for a bit, I'm for option 3.

Thanks for your time.
