Out of curiosity, what requirement are you failing?

(EDIT: Also, it would be wise to replace/remove the "set $wgLogo..." thing.)

Unfortunately, things are going pretty slowly. I've got exams, and am also working on some other completely unrelated wikis.

@above: I'd be thankful for the hosting, but for now I think we're better building somewhere else for free. It can always be moved later.

I believe our viewpoint has for now been "just because it isn't owned by Nintendo doesn't mean it can't be a Nintendo franchise". Which is one I have to agree with.

Wiki up... and with no articles. I had a bit of trouble with the Vector tabs, but none that should get in the way of proper stuff.

For now, since I got there first, we'll be using the EU for the titles. If it makes you feel better, you can always type it as "Spectre's Call/Last Specter" on other pages. Once the language thingy is up, it should fix most of that. Categories might be a bit of a trouble, though.

EDIT: About that.... uh, Roman advert... All the ads will disappear when/if you register/log in. So, if you're visiting, go do that.

@above: That would be brilliant. I was thinking about using a combination of Multilang, and using templates for the names, but I'm not sure it's the most elegant solution.

@above: If there's anything worth transferring, I'll try. In the meantimes, feel free to just copy anything you see that looks okay. For most pages I'm the only contributor, so it won't be too much harm done.

Ah, the Professor Layton series. Where, upon finding out a man has just been murdered, the locals will ask you some sort of inane riddle. And yet, there's something compelling about it.

I've contacted Wikkii's Advanced Hosting service to see if they'll approve a wiki for it. If they do, then I have pretty much the same functionalities of an independent wiki, and may even get a free domain if I get over 250 unique visitors (bit unlikely, I will admit, but fingers crossed). If they refuse, I shall relegate to ordinary hosting, and build there, with all the important stuff on the farmer. The eventual plan is to affiliate with NIWA once we (fingers croooossed...) reach the normal requirements to join. Because, to be honest, I'm not the sort of person who's willing to pay for their own site. Too money grabby, me. I will, of course, still be dedicated to the site. My natural greediness aside.

Once the site is up, I'm going to need massive help making all the pages. On the European/Australia/US title differences: If we get advanced hosting, I might be able to get an extension which swaps out one title for another depending on what language you set yourself. If we get normal hosting, or I find the language thing too hard, it'll be first come first serve. Given that I'll likely be the first one with access to the site, that probably means the non-US ones (Pandora's Box, Lost Future, Spectre's Call, etc.).

Once the site is up, I'll provide a link.

EDIT: Site is now up here, register and log in to remove ads.

I made this a while ago.

While it's absolutely dead, I hope it might help you a bit in your quest.

Square Enix - Sora,
Don't forget the Black Mage! Who better to put in a fighting game than da guy who cast da magic wich makes da peoplez fall down? And hopefully the Red Mage too. Unless they only have actual characters from Final Fantasy, in which case I think all the named non-special heroes from Dissidia would be in it.

I know there are differences between Falco and Fox, such as Falco's Landmaster flying and being less strong, but I still can't help but feel a bit similarities between the characters. Falco is definitely not a clone, but just look at their movesets:

FOX:
Standard Special Move: Blaster
Side Special Move: Fox Illusion
Up Special Move: Fire Fox
Down Special Move: Reflector
Final Smash: Landmaster

FALCO:
Standard Special Move: Blaster
Side Special Move: Falco Phantasm
Up Special Move: Fire Bird
Down Special Move: Reflector
Final Smash: Landmaster

They're different, I'll grant you, but it still feels samey.

I think that Fox should be the only character from the Star Fox series unless they can make more original skillsets. It might just be me, but I find Wolf, Fox and Falco a bit samey.

That said, Falco has appeared in two games in a row now, so he's probably safe, and I'd prefer it if they could just make Falco a bit different to Fox rather than full-out removing him. Sorta like what they did with Luigi.

Pokémon / Re: Nuzlocking

I've done Nuzlocking before, and I found it very enjoyable. I find it helps to make one of the rules to nickname every Pokémon in order to, whatchacallit, increase the pain in seeing them dying and such.

I wouldn't mind Mega Man in SBB, he's well-known in Nintendo anyway. But any other third-party characters might be overdoing it. Besides, doing more than three of something is like blasphemy.

And now you are eternally trapped. There is no escape.

While I think Snake and Sonic were fine, I don't there should be any more third-party characters. The focus shouldn't be taken too far away from Nintendo.

I totally want Stanley the Bugman in the next Smash Bros.. It's time for him and Donkey Kong to meet once more and fight yet again. I mean sure, Donkey Kong will be using his fists this time, but I'm sure a can of pesticides will be strong enough to stop the giant gorilla from coming up to him and simply breaking his spine in one go.

Mario is my main for all of the games. I also like Luigi, but I prefer to play as Mario.

I'd be Mario.

I mean, who doesn't want to be a fat Italian plumber who eats wild mushrooms off the floor and has exceptional jumping skills.

That's, like, my ultimate dream in life, man.
