Nintendo Gaming / Am I the only one disappointed with the 3DS?
« on: August 07, 2011, 06:13:07 PM »
I mean, I really want to like it, but it just seems like disappointment after disappointment.

First off, the 3D, unless you can prove otherwise, it's just a useless gimmick that doesn't change gameplay at all.

Second, Nintendo is claiming that the Wii U will have improved online, but judging by the "improved" online on the 3DS, it looks like Nintendo will be behind the times when it comes to online again.

Pokémon / Nintendo Confirms Pokémon 3DS Game
« on: February 03, 2011, 04:44:07 AM »
Quote
Following Nintendo’s third quarter earnings conference, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata confirmed in the question and answer session that Nintendo will develop and release a Pokemon game for the new 3DS system.

“Naturally, we expect 3D viewing to become one of the attractions when the new Pokémon title is released on Nintendo 3DS,” Iwata said.

Additionally, he addressed Nintendo’s potentially contradictory messages of releasing Pokmon for the 3DS, and yet warning parents in regards to the health effects the 3DS might have on children ages six and under.

“First of all, we are not saying that people 6 years old or younger should not play with Nintendo 3DS at all. Our recommendation is due to theories on 3D viewing which is more concerned with brain function rather than eyes,” he said. “We thought that the company should be proactive in letting such a theory be known to our consumers.”

Iwata said little more about the 3DS Pokemon game, providing no further details such as what type of Pokemon game it would be or when it would be released.

“I have no hesitation about the prospect that a Pokémon-franchise title will be released for Nintendo 3DS,” said Iwata.

The Nintendo 3DS will be released in the United States on March 27. Pokemon Black & White, which is designed for the DS system, will be released on March 6.

Nintendo Gaming / Pandora's Tower
« on: January 29, 2011, 10:51:59 PM »
Quote from: NintendoLife
During Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata's presentation at the company's Third Quarter Financial Results Briefing, a new Nintendo title for the Wii was announced and should be hitting Japan in the first half of 2011.
Not much is known about the game at the moment, with the most solid of facts being the game will carry the title of Pandora's Tower. Iwata revealed that the game is near the end of its development stage which makes us wonder why the company has kept it under wraps until now.
A teaser web page for the game has gone live and sounds as curious as it looks. All that is displayed at the moment is a piece of artwork depicting a young female with a large tattoo on her back. Classical-style piano is played over the top of a short piece of dialogue, presumably spoken by the young woman. As translated by AndriaSang, she says something along the lines of:
Dying and becoming beautiful, or living though ugly. Which will make you happier?
Some people have scanned the site and discovered a larger picture of the mysterious lady which shows a portion of her face, along with some odd text that might provide clues to the nature of the game. The web page says a Spring 2011 release is scheduled.

This is a game. D:< The point of the game is to say that instead of getting "game", you got "rip-off of game".

Instead of Pokémon SoulSilver, I got Pokémon SilverSoul.

Instead of GoldenEye 007, I got EyeGolden 700.

Instead of Resident Evil, I got Evil Resident.

Instead of Grand Theft Auto, I got Grand Theft Larceny.

Instead of Banjo Kazooie - Nuts and Bolts, I got Kazooie Banjo - Bolts and Nuts.

I know, dumb topic idea

And I also can only use the Pencil, brush, spray can, eraser, and copy paste, so no perfect shapes. And I must use the default pallet! OK READY GO!
