alright, going to do things briefly:

• Lylat Wiki: please see this post
• Wikibound: Tina will be posting.
• Fire Emblem Wiki: Aria's post pretty much summarizes it. Thanks Aria!
• Nintendo Wiki: Trying to get things posted, but kind of hard to do so, when only one of editor is helping. Not that I am not thankful, just trying to verbalize the difficulty. What seems to be the biggest hinderence, is very few people have server access, none of which are active on the wiki and I am not sure if they are following the N Wiki Board here on the forums.

Also, I am have a Square Enix Wiki up... that needs some love...

Alright, sorry I haven't posted on this in a while, but I have been waiting for the old host to get me the info that was needed.

In the process, we lost the domain

starfoxwiki.org to squatters. I have purchased

starfoxwiki.info and will be using that when I get all my ducks in a row.

as for the rest:
1. gotten new domain. Fixing nameservers now.
2. moved files to my hosting, uploaded and set up webhosting account on my server
3. getting database soon and then will be uploading it. There is some techincal difficulties with this, so I needed some help from the old hosts tech support.
4. fixed up my host's DNS

after all of that is done
5. I am going to be upgrading it to 1.19.2
6. fix up all extentions to modern standards, removing the ones I no long use, adding ones I do now, etc.
7. fixing up the CSS and Javascript that are out-of-date.

Yea... the email from him was a surprise to me to. I think it may have caught him be surprise, as he maybe going through a lot.

As for him coming on here... he hasn't been active with anything NIWA-wise for a long time. I am thinking he may have been forgotten about around here, till now.

The wiki...has gone missing. The webhost is flat broke, and has asked me to take over hosting. He said he will be sending me the files, but that he has yet to do so.

My thinking is he is very busy with RL problems.

StategyWiki is included due to a strong presence of Nintendo-related articles, many of the editors are Nintendo fans, and previously established partnerships with Bulbapedia, Zedla Wiki and WiKirby.

Plus... the more the merrier, Inclusion is better then exclusion, and all that.

I vaguely remember the days when NIWA was the biggest thing on the MarioWiki. Thought it was just us that quieted down about it, but I guess every affiliate has grown a bit apathetic to the project. Which is a real shame.

It is still pretty cool that NIWA was the big thing over there.

do you happen to know how to fix that?

You need to edit the Virtual Host file for seiwanetwork.org

Assuming you created them like I think you did you should be able to do:

Code: [Select]

nano /etc/apache2/sites-available/seiwanetwork.org

Add

Code: [Select]

ServerAlias www.seiwanetwork.org

After

Code: [Select]

ServerName seiwanetwork.org

Then save (reminder below):

Code: [Select]

CTRL + X
Y
Enter


Code: [Select]

/etc/init.d/apache2 reload

Done

Alright done and implented. Let's hope it works.
