I think the problem has less to do with content overlap and more to do with ripping text from another site and pasting onto your articles. I feel that DK Wiki should make it its priority to remove the plagiarism.

Wait a minute... I just took a look at some of the content on DK Wiki and it seems like they copied and pasted from Super Mario Wiki on some areas (or the other way around). Not only do these sections go over the same thing, they are identical. Here are just some examples I found while skimming DK Wiki:

*First paragraph of Stanley the Bugman
*Almost all of Diddy Kong
*All of Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis

Again, I just found these while skimming the articles to see how bad the overlap was. If I had actually looked for copied and pasted material, I may have found some more.

Well, as the DK Wiki continues to expand, it will go into more detail and venture into topics that don't necessarily apply to Super Mario Wiki.

Well, don't let your taste in video games dictate your choice in friends. Find some common ground with them. Most of my friends like the Xbox 360 or PS3 more than the Wii, and all I have is a Wii. Occasionally, they'll throw a joke at me because of it, but that's okay because there's so many other things we talk about and agree on that video game fanboy clashes rarely come up. In the very rare occasions that they do, I just sit back and let the Sony vs. Microsoft conflict arise because I know I won't convince them that Nintendo is better. They have a different taste in games.

I am willing to help, but the amount of assistance I can offer depends on how much coding knowledge is needed. If it's heavy on the coding, I will only be able to help a little.

That's not the only thing, also check the articles for accuracy, makes sure to help us find vandle articles, etc.

Based on what I understand, you're trying to convince them to like Nintendo... don't do that. Just leave them alone, and they will leave you alone. People who annoy other people do it to get a reaction; don't give them that reaction.

If not this week, they're certainly very recently set up. Plus they need to be moved off Wikkii to join NIWA, which I'm sure is a major goal in the near-as-possible future.

I of course, do have plans for Touch! Generations Wiki to move. Not Chibipedia yet because of others' plans that I've heard of. And because I've forgotten to undo the changes 'B' did. They need help for sure.

I can help a bit with these wikis if you'd like. I would need the links, though.

I'm not totally helping. :p I'm just going to help with some Main Page work, as I've done on a few wikis.

I ,actually, may not be working much more on it. I'm trying to get Chibipedia and Touch! Generation Wiki (both linked in my sig and hosted on Wikkii like Palutenapedia) started.

 ... I just don't want to take full credit. I used your (A/Turtwig A) Angel Land navigation box as an example for many other templates, and your (Axiomist) main page work makes the wiki much more welcoming.
