Favorite Wars Game

So, what is your favorite Wars game?  I only remember playing one or two of them when I was in elementary school with little memory about it, so I can't really vote.

To me, AW2 made improvements to AW1 and had very interesting mission design, though it's in a dead heat with AWDS. I didn't like DoR's style (both art and gameplay), and haven't played and Battalion Wars games, though I've heard they are good.

I only have Dual Strike, but I love it. I played a little bit of Advance Wars, but that was when I was in like...6th or 7th grade. XD I suck at these kinds of games but that doesn't stop me from playing them. I plan to finish Dual Strike someday...I'm too far in the game to quit now!

Thank god I'm not the only one that hasn't finished one of these games. I'm at the last battle in Days of Ruin, the last f n battle and the dude overkills me no matter what I do. If saving the world were up to me, then we'll just have to accept our fate, because I don't see me beating that guy.

Dual Strike is new to me and I'm liking it less than Days of Ruin. The graphics, characters, story, all of it really. :p The story is going like a cheesy fan-fiction where all of the lines of good and evil, friends and enemies, etc are clear and 50 miles thick. DoR really had hazy lines bc you often fought alongside a force that you knew would end up being your enemy. Or took missions that the CO objected to but had no feasible alternatives. I'm tempted to write up some major spoilers but I won't.

Graphics aren't great, but with there's no mistaking a recon unit for a small tank. I've sent a few recons to their death in DS bc I thought they were tanks. -shrugs-

Wow, I just looked up Days of Ruin and it looks pretty dark...  :o Not that it's bad. The graphics look awesome and even more realistic, but so gloomy compared to the brightness of Dual Strike! Really different from the other Advance Wars games.

But seriously, I don't even remember Dual Strike's plot. I play it like once every month or so, which causes me to forget what the story is about. :P

Totally AW2. It's nothing to do with me not getting completely stuck and sucking at this game, no siree.

(I loved the variety of missions)
