Alright, I'm releasing the link for Lylat Wiki, since it needs to get going, and nothing's being done. I'm leaving for three weeks, and I need to get it started for now. When I return, I'll be looking into skins for it, as well.

woo!! We're public!

Now, here are some of the things that i think we will need or that I really, really want:

  • Banner for the Sig's (like WiKibry has)
  • a graphic to represent the wiki and to be used as a favicon (like Mario Wiki Has)
  • a graphic to represent us on affiliate pages
  • a Wiki-Tan

Well...that's all i got of the top of might head.

Wow, I want a Wiki-tan too! I can draw, but never tried the anime style. :s

ZW's would be easy, any one of, or all 3 Golden Goddesses, Nayru would be a good fit, but the Farore image is awesome too.

I've been using it as the "In-universe" person running the wiki, as well as the person who runs the wiki central-communications area, Corneria (For those who don't know, this is similar to Wikipedia's Village Pump).

Edit: May we be stickyied and/or should we be moved to Membership and Affiliate Requests?

It made sense, but it didn't clarify what each link was. I fixed it.

Anyways, I'm going to try to get some work in on it. I'd be glad to affiliate with WK, of course!

EDIT: By the way, we're going to have our own domain, soon. I'm going to purchase it soon. I tried today, but they didn't tell me about the ICANN fee until the end, so I didn't have enough cash in my bank. On Monday, I'll deposit some more funds, though.

To answer the question: yes, it was a joke.

Anyway, i am so proud to have seen Lylat Wiki start and grow; and am happy to see it ready to move on to the next step.

Happy to be of help thus far, and i hope to continue to help in the future.

Next up for me: Getting PK Wiki up and active. And finding a job to continue providing web hosting services. And a few other things.

Anyway.  Here are some resources i have found, and i am currently looking for people to transfer information, images, etc. to the wiki. If you do so, please remember to tell us where you got it from.

Yea, that's the correct link. But what if i remove everything after the '/'?

and neo is probably working on setting $wgLogo....

I fixed our .htaccess, so it should now default to the correct link.

Also, the logo does need to be fixed. I'll pull it off the old site and put it up. By the by, the old Lylat Wiki is now closed. It will remain up for a little bit until the new one can stand on its own, but please use the new domain for now. Editing has been disabled at the old one, as well.

Lylat Wiki is currently looking for more staff members. I need additional people to watch over and help launch the project. If you're interested, please send me an email at jfolvarcik[at]gmail[dot]com explaining why you think you'd be good for being on staff.
