Sorry, tacopill, I'm aware we have Wikibound.  I searched there first, but sadly there was naught to be found on Wallys.

In the face of this danger, Mario summoned his Kirlia, and called Falco for backup.

It's not a problem. I wasn't aware you looked there first, and therefore it's my fault for assuming you didn't look.

Falco responds "He's a bit busy at the moment, but will be there when he can"

While Mario was busy getting backup, Wally used a Bullhorn directly in Mario's face, and yelled "Your mother's calling for you!".

The Wally, in its confusion, hits an Octorok instead of Kirlia and angers it.
I blame the economy.

Falco comes in and destroys the Wally; Octorok is angered further because he can no longer seek revenge on the Wally.

Frightened, Mario shouts "Mamma Mia!" and runs behind a tree, leaving his Kirlia to deal with the Octorok.

However, Kirlia is none too pleased at Mario for leaving her to face the Octorok without him.
