Not really. Something's not a sound if it cannot be heard. For example, if I were to lightly tap my desk, there would be vibrations, but we wouldn't consider it a sound since the vibrations were not audible. Same with a tree falling where no one can hear. It makes vibrations, but it's not a sound if it is inaudible.
