I am a bureaucrat at the Nintendogs Wiki at Wikia. We have plans to move to Wikkii soon, so we would just end up sharing traffic. Instead, are you interested in an admin position at the wiki?

Diluting fans when considering moving and eventually going independent is a bad idea. I'd suggest assisting the Wikia one with their move, rather than sticking with your infant creation. It is entirely up to you, but that's just my advice to achieve success and fully enjoy your fandom! :)

Guuuuuuys. Don't create a wiki for the sake of having a wiki! If you don't know anything about the series, or created it just out of impulse and not thinking about it in the long run at all, it's just going to wither and die within days. >_<

And to Tina, Nintendogs is my favorite simulation game ever made, even more than Sims.

Okay, the wiki on Wikia still needs a lot of polishing, but at least it has the framework down. If you log onto the Wikia wiki, you can find my user page (Vhehs2) and just leave me a message so I know who you are on Wikia. I can then give you the admin position.

We can move the wiki as soon as we clean-up the pages (or maybe we should move it first so that Wikia's version after the split is inferior?). Either way, the wiki will need some help, so if there are any other interested Nintendogs fans, send me a message (PM, wiki, or post here).

Maybe later on, but the wiki still needs a lot of work before it can join NIWA. And aside from membership into NIWA, there isn't much of a reason to go independent (for Nintendogs Wiki at least ); Wikkii offers advanced hosting immediately to any large wikis that transfer to Wikkii.

yea. This is something we may want to start addressing.

You can't just start a wiki, and expect it to come together on it's own. You need to work hard on it, developing its style, templates, policies, area's of content, and coverage.
