Donkey Kong is the main character of the Donkey Kong series. He resides in Donkey Kong Island as a powerful Kong. He lives in a treehouse at the beginning of Kongo Jungle. Unlike the previous 'Donkey Kong' game for the arcade released in 1981, he is now a hero. He spends most of his time playing with Diddy Kong or guarding his Banana Hoard from the Kremlings. His sidekick is known to be his nephew, Diddy.
