Hirokazu Tanaka (Japanese: 田中 宏和), nicknames "Hip Tanaka" and "Chip Tanaka", born December 13, 1957[1] is the president of Creatures, Inc. and a Nintendo music veteran; chip-sound/BGM composer, anime/general composer, engineer.

He has also worked for non-Nintendo products including those on Nintendo platforms, as well as his own commercial albums not restricted to Nintendo.
