References, or an alterative title, Nintendo in pop culture, is composed of a list of sightings all around about Nintendo in the technical side.

Due to the fact Nintendo is all around us, pop culture makes an exploitation or two about the company brand being seen all over the world with a variety of mentions, and easter eggs; making it wild within the real world. It doesn't count for sightings of Nintendo series like Mario.

"Just Give Them Your Money" (7/21/08)

In response to E3's 2008 downsizing, the comic was made to poke fun at the idea of Nintendo's initial strategy to focus on the casual audience. The comic depicts Nintendo of America's Reggie Fils-Aime, and Nintendo of Japan's Shigeru Miyamoto standing in the Nintendo conference, attempting to sell a Nintendo-branded toaster. As a result, the people in the audience depicted as the casual audience wanted to buy the branded product.
