NIWA News

NIWA Cross-Wiki Weekend - On the weekend of September 22-24, NIWA held its second annual Cross-Wiki Weekend, an event encouraging fans of Nintendo to contribute to a wiki they never or rarely contribute to. In the end, 12 participants contributed to 6 NIWA wikis, including article expansions, file uploads, template creation, and more. A huge thanks to our participants, and a congrats to Gabo 2oo from Bulbapedia, the lucky winner of the eShop card!

Promotions - On Lylat Wiki, Disaster Flare has been promoted to patroller, on F-Zero Wiki, Alex95 has been promoted to patroller, and on NintendoWiki, Serpent King has been promoted to administrator - congratulations to them!

You can catch it here.

In addition, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was revealed to be the second best-selling game of 2017 so far. On the mobile side, Super Mario Run was among the top free app downloads of 2017 on iOS, while Pokémon GO was among the top grossing apps on both stores.

  • Classic Edition systems - If you're worried you won't be able to get a Super NES Classic Edition, Nintendo have confirmed that, in addition to producing more stock for launch day, further shipments of the system will continue into 2018.
