Nintendo News

  • Nintendo Direct - Nintendo aired a Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Direct on November 7, giving us a deeper dive into the game's world of Alrest with information such as an overview of the game's premise, various aspects of gameplay such as the world, battles, and characters, and the reveal of a season pass for future DLC. You can watch the entire presentation here.
  • Sales Updates - In North America, the Nintendo Switch was yet again the best-selling game console, with the Super NES Classic Edition taking second place. In Japan, the Nintendo Switch has now sold over two million units. Overall, Nintendo game systems made up over two-thirds of all hardware sales, now for two months in a row. Super Mario Odyssey was also the third best-selling game released in October, and also claimed the title of best-selling game in Japan.
  • Pokémon - With the release of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the Pokémon franchise has now surpassed over 300 million units in game sales (and this isn't even including downloads or free games)!
