- Developed by Nintendo (at least in part)
- Published by Nintendo (in at least one marketing region)
- Owned by Nintendo (at least in part)
- Or involved Nintendo in some way, shape or form.
Similar to how bulbapedia catalogs Pokémon.

Series
Each game can belong to one of more series, whether they be an established Franchise, a recognized collection of independently related games, or a unrecognized group of notable titles.
Ports and Remakes
If a game has been ported and/or remade3 or more times.
Relations to other games
if a game is related by story, connectiviety or something else (not including ports or remakes) to 3 or more games.
