The Lounge / Re: Gaming FML joke thread

A couple days ago, my mom was killed by a dragon. The day after, my brother ran away to fight the dragon with a butter knife, and I haven't seen him since. I think he's dead. FML

--Three years later--
For about three years now, my dad's been always out in the mountains looking for my probably dead brother, and has barely spoken to me. He's the only family I have left. Also, my house keeps being struck by lightning for whatever reason. FML

...... Couldn't help myself. :P

What's this from?

Today, the Champion used a Full Restore and I ran out of potions. FML

Today, I kept counterattacking against opponents and died. FML (Fire Emblem)

My DS Lite's L and R buttons rarely work, and I have to blow into them to get them to work (thanks internet!) But I've gotten reluctant, because my sister has had Mononucleosis for a while and I don't want to get it...

Anyway, it's pretty scratched, and probably very dirty, but it still works fine. Sometimes Phoenix Wright will glitch up. As for my silver SP, it has tons of scratches and I even got sand in that part between the screen and the button part, but it still works perfectly fine.

I loved Tom and Jerry too! But I watched a few episodes of the newest series and it really wasn't funny at all.

For some reason, I can't remember any of my favorite episodes. But I do remember that they were really funny, and I was always happy to watch 'em. And that the differences between the different series of episodes were very noticeable.

Spongebob had only a few good episodes for me, and I truly only liked the one where there is a worm.
That was a great one :)

I always rave about how horrible the episodes from after the movie are. Season 4 wasn't too bad and I didn't notice it when I started watching it, (hey, I was only 9-10! I'm 13 now) but when I first saw Season 5 I was thinking "THIS SUCKS. YUCK."

I started looking around online, and I found a boatload of stuff about jumping the shark and stuff. It's really depressing... I heard that Stephen Hillenburg really wanted the show to end after the movie (it's an amazing finisher), but greedy heads wanted it to continue. So they did, and he left, and it continues in its rotting state...

I've heard it's beginning to get better, but I'm still kind of depressed. SpongeBob's voice has been heightened by an octave or so, and every single character has been flanderized to the point of insanity, and Sandy forgot about karate, and they stopped saying "KA-RA-TAY!", and the universe hates Squidward to no end, and SpongeBob is a complete jerk by now actually, and Patrick is now as dumb as a cucumber, and I could go on for a looong time.

Is "The Regular Show" any good? I lost the Cartoon Network channel on my system, so I haven't been able to follow Cartoon Network. I caught some of Chowder and Flapjack, they were okayish.

I haven't lost or broken any of my games I make sure to put them away after I use them
How is that possible?!

How many games have you broken/lost?

I've got a list:

I left my Pokémon Platinum, Personal Trainer: Cooking and Pokémon LeafGreen in the washing machine
I set a VCR on my SSBB disk on accident (I spell disk differently than most other people)
I lost my Sapphire somewhere, think it fell out of my backpack
I stepped on SMG
I left DK64 in the rain and it almost started my shed on fire
I got angry at Electroplankton so I threw it in the trash (really dumb idea).
I set a rock on Pokémon Ranger by accident

Kind of depressing... :(

As for me:
- A Pokémon Ruby version in a hotel (my sister's)
- One, possibly two Pokémon Emeralds on an airplane
- A Leaf Green version somewhere
- A Fire Red version at least five years ago.. and found it a few weeks ago!! =D
- A Donkey Kong game for GBA that a kid left at our house. Not sure what it was, but it had Diddy in it.
- Piglet's Big Game, a surprisingly fun game for GBA. I was very sad, especially because I found it and lost it again...
- A Super Smash Bros. Brawl CD that I suspect my sister may have given away... (along with a black Wii remote)
- A Pokémon Gold version AND the GBC it was in!! Really tragic...

Every time I lose something it's really depressing. By now one of my catchphrases is "PHEW! I thought I'd LOST it!"

Wargle!

This Pokémon looks like a cold food.

I was actually thinking of Miltank and Tauros, but that works too!

To the above one about metal: is it Steelix? I really don't know.

Chikorita! I think.

What female-only species could be a counterpart to another male-only species? (not the Nidoran line)

Ask your parents or a computer-savvy friend, maybe?

My computer-savvy sister did fix my computer by booting Ubuntu on it once... but I don't exactly know how she did it.
Maybe you could ask your parents or a computer-savvy friend to boot Ubuntu on your computer.

I do have a friend who knows what to do. Meanwhile, I'm stuck creating stuff for my PokéFanon Wikkii. I've created 25 Pokémon so far. I also created northern versions of Shellos and Gastrodon. Sucks editing wikis on the Wii...

This is true. Does anyone know if Wii supports usb keyboards yet?

When I downloaded the Internet Channel a few days ago (my Wii broke, I bought a new one, and I didn't bother to download it until then), it said you could use a Wii Remote or a "standard USB keyboard". So I guess it would work.

Would a wireless Logitech USB keyboard work?

You JEST (you heard it wrong), yet CRAZY (you heard that wrong too) silver cows taste horrible; hello, (comma is important!) tree.

As in, "You're joking, yet crazy silver cows taste horrible; greetings, tree.". Kinda?

Wait, did I hear you right?

NIWA Discussion / Re: Usage of Fanon
December 05, 2010, 02:31:47 PM
Sorry for bumping, but what exactly defines fanon? If somebody creates a fanon wiki, do users just create their own content and publish it?
#93
Exactly!! So you understand, right?!?!

Don't you understand?!?!?!

The Lounge / Re: What band instrument do you play?
December 05, 2010, 12:47:40 AM
Cello all the way! For the local chamber orchestra; it's a ton of fun. Also, does piano count? I play it occcassionally but that's also one of my favorite instruments.

How long've you guys been playing, too? I've been doing both piano & cello for many years now.

NIWA Discussion / Re: Fire Emblem Merge

Introduced to this thread by Tacopill up there!

Anyway, as far as I know the users there aren't very eager to move at all. The community's not actually that active, and I haven't found anything regarding Wikia or moving. Otherwise I don't have much to say, but I don't support it because at the NIWA wiki we've already established our own "customs" and stuff.

Not to mention the fact that their articles aren't really that well-kept.

That's because he's been standing too long in the rain to be able to move his hands.

Why don't you take them off for him?

Well, I have been playing Mario Kart from the start as my little brother (who is only six) deleted the save data AGAIN! This is my third play through now.

The same thing happened to me once when my baby cousin deleted all of my Fire Emblem files, for me and my two sisters!

Right now I'm playing Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. It's a lot of fun, and that Temple of the Ocean King is really challenging!

Wobbuffet!

This sea pokémon that is not from the fifth generation has low stats but holds a useful item.

And NOW I am ending this quote pyramid with this link.

Touhou Wiki, a reliable wiki, has left. Just saying. Also, this link is also useful for checking the wikis that have left. :)
