This is why i hope people change their welcome messages to: "Welcome to ______ Wiki. _______ has moved to (URL)." or something similar. That way the new users see that the old wiki has moved.

That's what I'm doing with Pikipedia right now, it works pretty well.

I've modified the welcome message, subtly. 

Which is why Wikia should figure out that we actually take pride in Taxonomy, the art of organization. Wikia's corporate nightmare "new look" is not organization, yet it is chaos. Indeed.

FYI: technically, it's a science. So says the self-proclaimed Taxonist/Taconimist/? and Wikipeida.

I did put myself myself first, then included Wikipedia as backup. I do not, repeat, do not take orders from him.

So so far we have FE wiki, which just got it's own domain, DK wiki, and WikiBound as possible future NIWA members.

ugh. Sonic Wiki?? No. Not Nintendo. We can affiliate them, but they can join a SIWA or something.

lack of money, stress out over the economy, less and less reason to celebrate....

well, I don't know about yoshi, but a Wario and a Donkey Kong can possibly justify seperate series.
Also, I don't see why there can't be seperate wikis on overlapping content, honestly, it's an alliance of Nintendo Wikis who are independent, why can't one that wants to go independent join in, even if it overlaps with another wiki?

I think I remember reading somewhere that the creators of Super Mario Wiki once created a DK Wiki. After some time, they ended up merging because of the great overlap in content. Do I remember this correctly?

BTW, Wars Wiki has their AWRP. Which is the Advance Wars Role Play wiki.

To elaborate, WC has a two year old Advance Wars RP, which has it's own Wiki (AWRPedia) for all sorts of details. It's quite basic, but it more than serves the purpose it was created for.
