How do you earn cards?

You use points called NIWAs, which you earn by posting. You then select the "Cards" option at the top of the page. Go to gamble to bet the NIWAs for cards. The more cards you have, the more NIWAs you have to bet to ensure you get a new card. Currently there are not that many cards available. But as I understand it, more are coming. The next time we get a boost in the number of cards, the chance of getting a new one will go up for everyone. I know because I was the one that derived the formula for it.

Met anyone? Well I did meet my state's then-senator Tom Daschle, who is famous because he was the Senate Minority Leader and the leader of the Democratic Party at the time.

But I am related to more famous people. On my dad's side I'm related to Eli Whitney, the Cotton Gin inventor. And on my mom's side I'm related to Laura Ingalls Wilder.

I always preferred the white one. Not only was it stronger, but it looked awesome too. But so did the black one. They were both cool But I could only pick one to vote on.

What do we do if you get the same card twice?
There is a counter next to each one that counts however many of each card you have. You can gamble more NIWAs to have a higher chance of getting a new card. Bet enough of them and you will have a 100% chance of a new one. Bet less than that and there's a chance you will get a duplicate. The more cards you have, the more points you have to bet to get a 100% chance. Eventually you probably won't be able to afford to go for 100% chances every time. That's why it is a gamble.

So we just keep duplicates?

It seems so. Though I can see possible features that *could* be implemented if they wanted to, like trading the cards. I think it can be done.

It's my universal nickname. I have everyone call me Matt. It's what I go by. The only people that still use "Matthew" are a few family members.

Pokémon / New Eeveelutions
« on: June 28, 2010, 06:47:07 PM »
I suppose we can expect at least a pair of new Eeveelutions in Gen V. I looked over the current types that currently lacks an Eeveelution.
I'll make an attempt. Don't tease me, please. I'm not overly creative.

  • Spookeon - Ghost type
  • Rockeon -  Rock type
  • Aireon - Flying type
  • Steeleon - Steel type
  • Veneon - Poison type
  • Monkeon - Fighting type
  • Drageon - Dragon type
  • Insecteon - Bug type
  • Bouldeon - Ground type

Yeah, I know, Monkeon. But that was a hard one. I couldn't think of anything. My favorite, the Ghost-type Spookeon. I think it's a clever name. More so than "Leafeon".

I have always been fond of Espeon. But I also like Flygon a lot too.  Scizor is up there as well.
